There are plenty of toys (including small bikes) for kids under 10 and the open deck and yard area is perfect for playing in the sun. A crib, high chair, and baby bath can all be provided on request.

Things to Know

Car hire recommended but not wholly necessary. The yard is fully fenced-off and safe for kids. There is a local farmers market on a Friday.

About the Location

This residence is in prime south-of-the-highway Bridgehampton on a quiet leafy street. Conveniently located to Bridgehampton’s Main Street shops, library, restaurants, Jitney and train. The beach is 2 miles away. Fitness facilities (SoulCycle, Physique 57) are short distance away. New York City is approximately 3 hours’ drive away.

Accommodation Details

This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home has decking and a garden around it and is largely open plan, with a living room and kitchen downstairs plus wood-burning fireplaces both in and out. On the lower level, there is a bedroom with a double bed, and a children's bedroom with bunkbeds and a crib, plus a bathroom with shower and tub. The second floor master suite has a bright bath with shower and tub, and skylights.

Style Notes

Beautiful beach cottage feel with bright interiors, bleached wood floors, and warm driftwood accents. Modern kitchen featuring retro-style Smeg refrigerator, and comfortable newly renovated bathrooms. In- and outdoor fireplaces are perfect for chilly nights. We love the space and lights, the kids playroom with retro school desk and the feeling of harmony.

I am a native New Yorker, and, after having lived for several years on the West Coast, returned home to Brooklyn. I'm now excited to raise my daughter here and show her the best of the city and The Hamptons. We hope that she gets the same travel bug that we have. We joined Kid & Coe because we appreciated the need/desire for good design, comfortable residences that encouraged kids rather than made them feel like an afterthought, and recognition that families shouldn't have to compromise on taste.

We really enjoyed this house. Its location, design, etc all made for a special getaway. Our thanks to our hosts, and to kid and coe, for enabling it.

We had such a wonderful week at this beautiful property. The house was very well equipped and well appointed. We adored being so close to the beautiful Hampton beaches, and enjoyed daily bike rides into town - there was a bike for everyone in our family! Our daughters felt right at home in the bunk buds (and we especially appreciated the black-out shades in the children's room), and we loved being in the upstairs loft with the beautiful master bath area. The swings in the yard were a big hit as well. The house is thoughtfully designed with a beautiful, clean beachy feel, and has nice quality design elements throughout which just adds to wonderful vibe. Marcella was a stellar hostess - very responsive and helpful at different points in the process.

We had a great week in Bridgehampton. Marcella was very helpful and accommodating. The home itself is really lovely. The kids had a great time, as did we. The master bedroom is a loft, bright and airy but also open to below, so not maybe as ideal for some families that need a super quiet room for their kids but it worked well for us. The location is great-- we would drive to nearby permit only beaches (recommended by Marcella), drop everyone off with all the umbrellas and chairs and towels, then one person would drive back to the house, park, and cycle back. A lovely relaxing week.

Bridgehampton, The Hamptons

Island hopping, sailing and the good life

This Southampton town is in the heart of the Hamptons, with plenty of pursuits for those who love luxury living: gourmet restaurants and wineries, celebrated horse riding events and classic car championships. The beach has huge family appeal, as does island hopping by ferry and sailing.
