About the Location

The residence is on a quiet cul-de-sac in a private community abutting The Long Pond Greenbelt Nature Reserve with hiking and biking trails in the backyard. It is 4 miles to Ocean Beach, 2 miles to downtown Bridgehampton and 2 miles to downtown Sag Harbor. It is around 2-2.5 hours’ drive from New York City and is 10 minutes’ drive from the most pristine beaches on the East Coast. Citarella (a gourmet supermarket), King Kullen (a big standard supermarket), and Starbucks are each about 5 minutes’ drive without ever having to get on Montauk Highway, a road that gets very busy and slow during peak summer periods. Car rental recommended; the area is also accessible by Jitney.

Style Notes

Contemporary Hamptons meets farmhouse chic. The home has beautiful light and is bright and open. It offers an inviting living space complimented by vaulted ceilings, oversized windows and sliding glass doors. The décor is a mix of contemporary along with accents of country farmhouse furnishings, with muted greys, blues and whites found throughout the home. We love the huge, practical and beautiful main living space, the simple and classic bedrooms and the incredible kids play area in the basement.

Born and raised in New York City, Lisa has spent the better part of the last twenty five years in the travel industry, managing the travel needs of demanding New York City corporations and luxury vacationers. During her years in New York City, Lisa purchased and renovated numerous apartments, becoming intimately familiar with the New York City real estate market. In 2008, Lisa began renting her investment condominiums as short term vacation rental properties. Lisa found a natural merge of her two life interests, travel and real estate, while satisfying the needs of families and friends seeking quality vacation apartment accommodations when visiting New York City. However, in 2011, when New York State passed a new law making short term rentals illegal in Class A buildings, Lisa was forced to immediately cease from renting her apartments short term. Over the course of the following two years, Lisa searched New York City seeking the perfect “legal” two family townhouse. In 2013, Lisa finally located, purchased and gut renovated what is now known as Midtown Flats. In the years to follow, Lisa purchased additional homes in the Hamptons, a beach resort destination located approximately two hours from New York City. As a specialist in corporate and leisure travel, Lisa has had the opportunity to experience the finest luxury hotels around the world. This experience coupled with Lisa’s knowledge of her client’s needs gives her the background to understand what vacation travelers are seeking when looking for a vacation rental apartment in New York City and the Hamptons.
