About the Location

The villa is in the pretty, family-friendly village of Villammare in the south of the Campania region. Everything in Villammare is focused on family needs. It is a quiet rural area and is lovely to explore. Note that it is popular with Italian tourists in peak season (August). The closest international airport is in Naples, a 2.5-hour drive away with Rome's airport 4 hours away. Car hire is recommended for exploring the local area. The Amalfi Coast is a 2.5 hour drive away. Villammare is lively at summer and there are bars, chalets, and shops. The "marina" of Villammare is about 1 mile therefore you could go walking but car is highly recommended because the last part of the road to the villa is steep.

Contemporary with traditional touches. This modern villa was built in a traditional style and is set 124 feet above sea level with stunning views along the Cilento coast. It is comfortably furnished and has traditional tiled floors and a light and airy feel inside, with simple and elegant furnishings. The outdoor areas make the most of the stunning views. We love the shaded areas around the oak tree, the lounging areas and the outdoor kitchen facility for easy summer cooking in the sun.

Me and my sister Antonietta own this spectacular villa in Villammare. Following a huge passion for hospitality, some years ago at this family jewel we decided to open the door to the international quality tourism. Since 2005 so many families from all over the world have chosen Villa Le Cannicelle as location for their family meeting at the beach in Italy. The majority of them are keep gathering to the villa along the years for their family meetings. Their children feel like home and, when summer arrives, they can't wait to jump again into our beautiful swimming pool. We saw them growing up along the years and some of them can now even speak Italian a little bit. What a great joy for us! As a property owner what I care most is hospitality and my dedication to an excellent service in my role. If you are planning a charming family holiday in Italy please don't hesitate to contact me. The 'dolce vita' is here!

Campania, Italy

Including Naples, the Amalfi Coast, Vesuvius and Capri within its bounds, the province of Campania in southwest Italy, is one of the country's most exciting places for a vacation. Eat the best pizza in the world, take speedboat trips to glamorous islands or wander amid the ancient Roman ruins of Pompeii. The countryside serves up authentic cuisine and quieter beaches, and the further south you get, the more untouched the region becomes.
