Style Notes

Contemporary chic. Designed by famed architect Jerrold Lomax and featured in Architectural Digest, this home is bright, modern and uncluttered. Contemporary furniture by Roche Bobois, Saarinen, and Eames make it a delight for the eyes. A bright pink Saarinen Womb Chair provides the perfect reading nook by the metal clad fireplace. Eames platform queen beds in both children's bedrooms offer plenty of room for several kids to share, while Contemporary silk and wool rugs cozy up the modern concrete floors. Modern art and photography throughout the home give wonderful contrast to the rural and valley views. The colorful collection of ceramic bowls by artist James Lovera are the pride and joy of the homeowners. We love the unique style and attention to detail for adults, and fantastic places to play for kids.

Carmel, Monterey

Sandcastles, sealife and sunshine

Carmel is a rightly popular and family-friendly area in the middle of the Californian coast with a white sand beach, cultural appeal and wineries by the sea. Make sandcastles on the beach, browse art galleries in pretty Carmel-by-the-Sea, explore dramatic national parks and meet the local wildlife at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
