Who I am? Well I find it quite difficult to describe myself. I guess I can say I am a person who is positive about every aspect of life. There are many things I like to do, to see and to experience. I like for instance travel; I like to know new people and interact with them, know about their culture and habits; I love my family far the most important thing in my life and of course my dogs; I like childrens and their laugh; I like to think. I like to talk, I like to listen; I like to work to achieve my dreams; I like to bring pleasure; I'm perfectionist and I convinced that everything relies in the little details; I like to wake up early because I think the future belongs to the people that wake up early, but sometimes I like sleep till the sun wakes me up; I’m Swiss so I like punctuality as well as I like delicious food and comfortable shoes; I like good books and love to watching movies with popcorn; I like the land and the nature, but above all that I like to laugh, to love, to learn, to understand, to communicate, to create, to dream. Voila, I guess that’s what I am....

Champery, Swiss Alps

The gateway to the snow

In the heart of Switzerland’s huge ski area, Les Portes du Soleil, the village of Champery is one of the country’s oldest tourist destinations. It is a lovely village hideaway in the mountains, with fantastic ski slopes and alpine pastures, traditional chalets and multiple options for finding a hot chocolate. It is a short drive to Lake Geneva; Val d’Iliez Thermal Spa and the nearby AquaPark are just two of the options beyond the slopes to explore.

I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about the experience we had at Petou Chalet. It is the best vacation my family and I have ever had! The town is a picturesque Swiss alpine village, the Chalet is the most charming and quaint space I could imagine, and the hosts were unbelievably accommodating and friendly. They knew our kids are soccer fans and so they went out and bought brand new FIFA Xbox game in anticipation of our arrival! There are the cutest sheep that come to the back of the house in the morning, waiting for scraps of apples or carrots - Vanessa even left a bucket for our kids to give to them daily. The kitchen, bathroom, beds were all FABULOUS. Organized, clean, top of the line everything. Baskets of eggs, nespresso cappuccinos every morning, fresh fruit, thoughtful snacks for the kids - the only downside is that this vacation ruined us for all others! We will definitely be back and will bring our extended family next time!

This chalet is nothing short of perfection. The property is absolutely immaculate, well designed and beautifully appointed. There is everything here for a fantastic holiday in a spacious and very comfortable chalet located in a beautiful part of Switzerland. Champery is a very nice town and shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance of the property. In addition, the hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and went out of their way to accommodate our needs. I cannot recommend this property highly enough and my family and I will definitely be going back.
