Perks for the Parents

A central Chicago stay in a beautiful Art Deco building, with all the comforts of home. The largest apartment sleeps 6. The Plymouth is ideal for culture vultures: located in Chicago's South Loop it offers plenty of cultural sights nearby including the Fine Arts Building, the Museum of Contemporary Photography and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The property also boasts a chic rooftop lounge - an open-air space to relax with a glass of wine at night and a place to grill in the heart of the city. For family practicalities, each apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen, in-unit laundry and cable TV.

Why Kids Love it

There’s plenty of room for kids to play and relax when they need a break from exploring the city, and the fully-equipped kitchen is handy for keeping snacks or milk for little ones. The sprawling Grant Park and Lake Michigan are just blocks away for doses of fresh air and outdoor play. Grab a savory deep-dish pizza from Lou Manati's for a picnic at Grant Park or immerse the kids in culture with a visit to The Art Institute of Chicago, also in the same area. The kids will love eating outside for dinner in the shared outdoor spaces, as well as the ping pong table - ideal for teens or family matches.

Urban sanctuary. A neutral color palette keeps these city spaces feeling spacious and calm, while pops of blue and orange add texture and visual interest. Expansive windows illuminate the rooms, and each apartment has unique features such as a feature wall in the bedroom or works of art related to the area. We love the sleek minimalist kitchens, the open air roof deck and the rich leather couches in the common lounge areas.

Chicago, Illinois

The Midwest's most visited

From marvelling at skyscrapers to wandering kid-friendly museums and cultural centers, playing in parks and getting around by water taxi or L-train, it's no wonder that the Windy City is popular with families. Anish Kapoor’s Bean sculpture at Millenium Park is the place for a family photo, with reflections of the cityscape in its surfaces behind you; the big wheel at Navy Pier is a great place for city views, and for hide and seek among statues of Dorothy, plus an exceptional playpark at the end, try Oz Park. The city has a thriving food scene, but if your kids prefer things simple, hot dogs, deep dish pizzas and burgers are all served up Chicago-style and are sure to keep them happy.
