Why Kids Love it
The children’s rooms and the nursery have a few kids books and toys for bedtime. When they need to run off some steam, Clapham Common has a playground (10 minutes’ walk) and they’ll love exploring nearby Brockwell Park (15 minutes by bus) which has an outdoor lido pool, huge adventure playground and a miniature train at weekends.
Things to Know
No pets, parties or smoking. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which you are required to sign and submit. This home is set over 3 floors so there are a fair few stairs involved. There's a cot room available if you're traveling with an infant. The garden includes a BBQ. A hypoallergenic dog usually lives here, but won't be around during your stay. Pets are welcome to stay on request.

This residence is nestled on a quiet residential street just a stone's throw from Clapham Common. It’s less than 10 minutes’ walk to Clapham Common subway station so you can head into central London for a day of sightseeing or shopping (around half an hour away). The area is full of cute cafes and leafy trails nearby, while nearby Clapham Park is known for its family-friendly pubs.
Accommodation Details
The property has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, set over 3 floors. At the front of the house you’ll find a chic living room with a fireplace and gorgeous bay window. At the back, there’s an open plan kitchen/dining room with bifold doors leading out to the garden. Upstairs on the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms (1 queensize, 1 single and 1 nursery with a crib) and a family bathroom with a bathtub. On the top floor, there are 2 more bedrooms (1 queensize and 1 single) and a shower room. Outside there’s a patio terrace, a well-kept lawn and a little decking area complete with BBQ and dining table.
Style Notes
Elegant charm. The house has been fully renovated to create a luxurious retreat for modern families. Underfloor heating in the kitchen keeps toes warm in winter, and a still and sparkling water tap adds hotel-style convenience for traveling parents. We love the sophisticated pastel shades used throughout, the understated shaker kitchen and the antique tiled fireplaces.

Clapham, London
Green spaces and gastro pubs
Set between Brixton and Battersea, Clapham is a lovely neighborhood just 20 minutes by public transport from the West End, with green spaces, gastro pubs and plenty of local families. Clapham Common is a great place to play, walk dogs and have a picnic in the summer; Battersea Power Station nearby hosts family-friendly events, and it’s just a short bus ride to Battersea Park for its zoo, playground, running tracks and boating pond. Brockwell Lido, nearby is great for a dip in the summer.
