This lovely, family-friendly home is just 15-minutes’ walk to Sydney’s iconic Coogee Beach and has plenty to keep kids happy. It sleeps up to 9 + 1. This house is ideal for a large family, and could also accommodate 2 families travelling together. There is a large bathroom on the main level with a double shower and bath, and there’s a play room and backyard too. Parents will enjoy hanging out on the entertaining deck that overlooks the garden, and the master suite with distant ocean views.

Why Kids Love it

The house has plenty of toys, books, and scooters to entertain children under 10 years old. There is also a play room on the bottom level opening onto a secure backyard with a swing and trapeze set. A crib, high chairs, changing table and baby bath are all included. The house is a downhill walk to Coogee beach, Gordon's Bay and Clovelly beach, which are all excellent fun for children.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 5 nights. There is parking for 2 cars on the driveway, and a level entry. The house is on 3 levels and has stair gates for the little ones. The back yard is fully enclosed and safe for children of all ages. To get here, fly to Sydney Airport, which is a 20-minute taxi ride. A car is useful for exploring further afield but you’re better off without one in the city – travel by taxi, bus, metro, Harbor ferries or water taxis instead.

About the Location

This residence is centrally located on the border of Coogee and Clovelly in Sydney. It provides access to some of Sydney's best beaches that are a quick drive or short walk away. The house is in close proximity to Coogee and Clovelly, as well as Bronte and Bondi. There are fantastic playgrounds a 10-minute walk or a 2-minute drive away. At the end of the street are fantastic cafes, a pharmacy and convenience store. Centennial Park and Paddington Markets are under a 10-minute drive away.

Accommodation Details

This 3-level residence has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. On the top floor are 2 bedrooms – a kids’ room with a single/twin bed and wooden crib and 1 queensize bedroom, and a family bathroom with a tub and a double shower. The main floor has an open plan kitchen, dining and living space with up to 6 people around the dining table. There’s also an entertaining deck with a table and chairs and lounge chairs. Also on this floor is a bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom with a shower. On the ground floor is a playroom with a double sofabed and a secure backyard with play equipment.

Style Notes

Modern, spacious and bright. This gorgeous city home has an abundance of natural light, high ceilings and a lush, green outlook from the open plan living space. The house has a relaxed yet sophisticated feel with carefully chosen artwork and contemporary furniture. We love the glossy white kitchen with fun light fixtures, the entertaining deck that’s perfect for al fresco sunny mealtimes, and the central location that makes exploring Sydney or getting to the beach a breeze.

We are a family of five hailing from Sydney and Vancouver. We love to travel with our three beautiful girls, whether it's between Sydney and Vancouver or further afield to other exotic locations! We are excited to be a part of this fantastic concept and look forward to hosting and being hosted through Kid & Coe.

Coastal walks, ocean baths and the Tasman Sea

This eastern suburb 15 minutes to the southeast of Sydney borders the Tasman Sea and has fantastic beaches and has been described as ‘Bondi without the posers’. It’s great for families with coastal walks, ocean baths and buzzing cafes and restaurants along the parade. There’s an Art Deco cinema and plenty of space to play frisbee and have a barbie too.
