I am a Brazilian art director, living in Rio with my young son after spending many years in New York. As a child I also lived in Chile and the UK, and as a professional I worked in places as diverse as Switzerland, Hong Kong, Poland and Canada. Traveling and exploring different places is my passion, but our home is our safe haven. In this spirit of adventure, I would like to expose my son to different people and cultures, and find like-minded families who can enjoy our beautiful city and take loving care of our very special home. Living in Rio, we are able to enjoy year-round outdoor activities such as swimming and biking, and road trips to beach and mountain destinations. We’ll be happy to welcome our guests in English, French or Spanish, and show them the best ways to enjoy Rio with kids.

Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro

Where life's a beach

In the south zone of Rio de Janeiro, Copacabana has one of the most famous stretches of beach in the world. Its vibrant 4km of golden sand, backed by Art Deco buildings and a black and white promenade designed to look like a wave, is where you’ll find anything from sunbathers to sand castle builders, hawkers selling coconut juice and beach football games taking place until late in the night. Leblon, Ipanema and the historic center are nearby.
