Perks for the Parents

A fun Scandi duplex in Copenhagen, with a playful kids room and a community garden. It sleeps 6-8. The 2 floors make it possible for everyone in the family to have their own space, and yet there’s a great living/dining room for everybody to get together. The Scandinavian interiors and simplistic style feels comfortable yet practical, so you’ll feel relaxed staying here with the kids. When you’re ready to explore, the inner city is just a short walk away over the river.

Why Kids Love it

The downstairs bedroom is perfect for older kids or teens who need some privacy, while the upstairs bedroom has all kinds of toys and books for children to enjoy, as well as the climbing ladder and gymnastic hoops! The top 2 rooms also have views over the rooftop for a truly magical experience. There’s a large playground outside in the building’s yard and grassy areas to sit and relax outdoors.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 4 nights. Safety notes: there are curved steps from one floor to the other, some of which have no side rail, so smaller children may need help and supervision. The children’s bedroom upper sleep area is only accessible via ladder. Please note there is no bathtub, as is common in Copenhagen.

About the Location

The apartment is located in Copenhagen’s hippest neighborhood, full of cool smaller eateries, delicious bakeries, eccentric bars and parks for the kids to play in. It’s only 5 minutes from the inner city, but without all the tourist noise that comes with the inner city area. It’s 15 minutes’ walk to the Fælledparken park, which has a water park, skate park and museum. There’s a bus stop 3 minutes’ walk away to get around the city: the city zoo, Tivoli gardens and Kastellet landmark are all around 20 minutes away via public transport.

Accommodation Details

The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. Downstairs there is direct entry to living space, consisting of a large open-plan lounge/diner/kitchen. Here you’ll also find the kingsize bedroom and bathroom, as an extension to open space living areas. Upstairs are the other 2 bedrooms, with queensize beds, exposed wooden beams and an extra upper sleeping area in the children's bedroom with 1 single bed. There’s also a double sofabed in the living area for an additional guest.

Style Notes

Designer Loft. Scandinavian furniture classics and simplistic aesthetics with a twist, make this apartment feel homey and relaxed. Super comfortable luxury beds, with soft bedding, add to the restful experience and the fully functional kitchen is perfect for easy family meals. We love the wooden flooring, the quirky ‘hidden’ TV behind living room storage and the colorful artwork on the walls.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
