The location of the villa is perfect for parents seeking laid-back vacation vibes with family-friendly beaches, watersports and tavernas serving fresh Corfiot dishes just minutes walk away. The villa also benefits from use of the facilities at the Bella Mare Hotel, including a supervised activity club for kids aged 5-11 during the school holidays, giving parents some well-earned time for themselves. With light and airy open-plan interiors and landscaped gardens with pool-side sundeck, shaded chill-out seating, alfresco dining and barbecue area, there is plenty of space for all the family to gather together or find a peaceful spot for some 'me-time'. For guests wishing to explore the local area, boat hire can be arranged for accessing hidden coves and fishing villages, while the restaurants and cafes of Kassiopi and Agios Stephanos are just over 5 minutes’ drive away.

Kids get the best of both worlds here with access to hotel facilities at the Bella Mare, combined with the benefits of their own private gardens and pool to play around in. The supervised kids holiday club offers the opportunity to make some friends while trying out some of the local watersports on offer including stand up paddleboarding and kayaking. The hotel has a large pool and gardens for kids to explore as well as table tennis, a snack bar and access to Avlaki beach which is perfect for both confident swimmers and little paddlers. For downtime, and laid-back days, the villa is the ultimate retreat with plenty of private space and entertainment to keep everyone happy. The large, airy sitting room comes with a TV and DVD player, perfect for movie screenings while the outdoor infinity pool is big enough for family games or lilo time. The well-stocked kitchen and barbecue make rustling up a post-swim family feast easy, with plenty of garden space to picnic in, as well as use of a shaded alfresco table for dining with a view.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 7 nights, other durations on request. The hosts offer a complimentary infant pack which includes a cot/travel cot, bed guard, highchair, baby-gate, bottle steriliser, baby bath, non-slip bath mat and potty. This can be requested at time of booking. At the property, please note that there is an ungated pool which younger children should be supervised around. Bath and pool towels are included. There is no bath tub at the property but there is an ensuite shower in each bedroom. There is air conditioning and WiFi throughout. A washing machine, dishwasher and ironing facilities are included. Car hire, child seats and booster seats are available for an additional charge on request. Villa guests benefit from a discount on kayaks and SUPs hired from Avlaki Boats adjacent to the Bella Mare Hotel grounds. Bella Mare’s programme of complimentary children’s activities are available during the summer holiday period - the host can confirm dates at time of booking. The host’s concierge team can additionally help arrange in-house chefs/catering, babysitting/childcare services, airport transfers and taxi bookings upon request.

About the Location

The villa is located in one of the most desirable spots in north east Corfu, benefitting from an elevated hillside location on the verdant headland above Avlaki bay. Corfu is blessed with many sandy, shallow beaches - ideal for little paddlers. Avalaki beach is the villa’s closest with tavernas and local boat/watersports hire, just 5 minutes walk away. The nearest shop is 3 minutes drive (local shopping delivery can usually be arranged, minimum spend required). Kassiopi which has a good offering of tavernas, bars, shops and a bakery is 5 minutes’ drive away while Agios Stephanos has a sandy beach with tavernas and shops and is 8 minutes by car. Palaiokastritsa beach, one of the most popular with families, is 55 minutes by car. for thrill-seekers, Aqualand Corfu water park with various flumes and tube rides is 1 hours’ drive away. Corfu town with its old and new fortresses is 50 minutes drive away as is the island’s airport.

Accommodation Details

This property has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms set over 2 floors. The ground floor of the villa can be accessed via steps down to the front door. Inside is an open-plan living area with comfy sofas and a feature fireplace. Through an open archway is the dining area with fully-equipped kitchen including a ceramic hob and dishwasher, a dining table for 6 and direct access on to the veranda. Beyond is a ground floor twin bedroom with 2 large singlesize beds, ensuite shower room and its own veranda access. On the first floor is the primary bedroom with doublesize bed, ensuite shower and private balcony. A second twin room can be found next door with 2 singlesize beds, ensuite shower room and private balcony. The grounds include a large shaded veranda with sofa seating and alfresco dining table, a sun terrace with sunloungers and parasols and a 5m x 8m infinity pool, surrounded by mediterranean plants and gardens.

Interiors are light, airy and comfortable with modern floor to ceiling glass windows pulling in the magnificent views from every angle. A perfectly private hideaway surrounded by nature with verdant mediterranean gardens winding down to the azure bay and the tree clad hills beyond. We love the stylish infinity pool which enjoys prime position for watching passing boats sail around the pretty headland. The large covered terrace offers a cool, shady spot for alfresco lunches while the sundeck with poolside sun beds and parasols is the ultimate place to unwind in true mediterranean style.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
If cancelled 61-300 days before arrival, 30% of the total booking amount will be retained as a cancellation fee. If cancelled 0 – 60 days before arrival, 100% charge of the total booking amount will be retained. In addition to the host’s policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 10% of the booking total.
