Perks for the Parents

This villa near the beautiful beach resort of Pinarello has a panoramic view of the sea and the mountains, a large, heated pool and a stunning, contemporary interior. It sleeps up to 15. Parents that enjoy cooking will appreciate the fully equipped kitchen with an American-style fridge and 2 dishwashers. The kids’ room is downstairs and there’s a queensize bedroom opposite, which may be perfect for a nanny or au pair. Meanwhile, Sperone golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior, is in Europe’s top 40 and less than an hour’s drive.

Why Kids Love it

The kids’ bedroom has 2 sets of low-slung, custom-made bunk beds – they’ll love sleeping together. The house is well equipped with toys and games for under 10-year-olds. Baby equipment, including a high chair and changing table, is provided. Nearby beaches such as Plage de la Tour Genoise Fautea and Plage De Pinarello provide lots of sand and surf fun. Two family bathrooms with baths and showers are helpful when coming back from the beach. The tree-climbing, canyoning and cycling adventure park of A Tyroliana is just 10 minutes by car.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 7 nights. The swimming pool has an electric shutter but no gate – the pool is open from April to October and is heated at no additional charge. The house is on top of a hill, so access is steep. Car hire is mandatory to access the property. The entire villa is air conditioned. A concierge service organizes check ins and cleaning. Additional services such as babysitting and boat rental can be arranged with them at a preferential rate. All linens and towels are included. No pets are allowed. The 3rd bedroom on the ground floor has a wide independent entrance adapted to a wheelchair and a bathroom suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

About the Location

This residence is just halfway between the beach resort of Pinarello and the little village of Sainte-Lucie-de Porto-Vecchio in Zonza, south-east Corsica. The villa is a 4-minute drive to the closest beach and a 9-minute drive from Pinarello and its sandy beach. Porto-Vecchio, 30 minutes south, is full of sparkling yachts and chic boutiques, plus plenty of family-friendly restaurants. The closest airport is Figari–Sud Corse (50 minutes’ drive) but you also can land in Airport Bastia-Poretta (BIA) (1h, 40 mins). To arrive by boat, dock in in Bastia or Porto Vecchio.

Accommodation Details

This villa has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on 3 levels. There is a full kitchen and family-sized dining area and a living room that leads to a terrace with outside furniture and a BBQ. Outside is a landscaped garden and a 11 m x 5 m heated pool. There are 3 bedrooms on the ground floor – 2 queensize bedrooms (1 suitable for reduced mobility with an ensuite) and the kids’ room with 2 bunkbeds sleeping 4. There is a family bathroom on this floor. Two double sofabeds can accommodate an additional 4 guests. On the 1st floor is a queensize bedroom with an ensuite with a corner bath, walk-in shower, 2 sinks and WC. On the 2nd floor is a queensize master suite with an ensuite with a spa tub and shower, plus its own private terrace with a sea view. Additional baby equipment rental can be arranged upon request by the villa concierge.

Style Notes

Rooms with a view. This south-facing sunny villa is full of bright seaside color. Each room has its style, the master bedroom is blue and white with tan chairs, another is yellow with a deckchair-style striped throw, while the kids’ room is white with a pretty tee-pee, fairy lights and shark bean bag. The furniture is contemporary with muted tones and natural textures. We love the large pool, the high-end, sleek finish and the wonderful views overs Pinarello Bay and the Alta Rocca mountains.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
