It sleeps 6 + 1. This residence is perfect for kids who love the outdoors - it’s just moments from the bay with crystal clear waters, watersports and jetty, as well as miles of hiking trails, and coastline to explore in the surrounding area. Spend your days catching crabs on the beach or trying your hand at local water sports, before dining in the relaxed local pubs or cooking in the stylish kitchen.

It’s just 1 minute away from the coast where they can play on the beach, swim in the sea, catch crabs on the jetty or watch the boats sailing along. Older kids or teens can try water sports in the bay - tuition and hire for sailing, paddle boarding, windsurfing or kayaking can be arranged at the RYA accredited center just a few minutes away from the house. Hosts can provide a travel crib and high chair, as well as children’s utensils and beach toys.

There are steps up to the front door - note there is no hand rail so toddlers or older grandparents may need some help. The garden is fully enclosed, though it is raised and up a few steps so smaller children should be supervised. Pets are welcome on request. There are 2 spaces for parking - car hire is recommended to explore the area. The residence comes with a bed rail for the twin beds, fireplace guard, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, washer/dryer, bed linen and towels, TV, DVD player and library and WiFi.

About the Location

This property is located on the Dale peninsula, in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in south west Wales, United Kingdom. It is 2.5 hours away from Cardiff airport. The horse-shoe shaped bay and local village amenities are right on your doorstep. The village has an award-winning gastro-pub as well as a kid-friendly brasserie at the end of the road with a pool table and a roof terrace. This rural area is home to lots of wildlife, including birds, seals, dolphins, porpoises and puffins. Further afield, the stunning and uncrowded Marloes Sands beach, managed by the National Trust, is a 5 minute drive and is frequently features in the top 10 beaches in the UK, with miles of sand, rock pools for the kids and many fossils to be found. Boats go each day in the season to the magical offshore islands of Skomer and Skokholm (the boat harbour is 10 mins away). These islands are famous for their wonderful bird life and have some of the richest wildlife in Britain - especially Skomer's enormous colony of puffins.

Style Notes

Boutique beach house. This recently-renovated home is light and bright, styled with inspiration from the coastal location. Bright white wooden textures are mixed with linen curtains and rattan lighting, while the open shelves in the kitchen display beautiful crockery and items from the owners’ travels around the globe. Quartz work surfaces in the modern kitchen are stylish and practical and the kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed for cooking at home. Vintage botanical prints adorn the walls and colorful cushions add coastal blue pops of color to the bedrooms. We love the sophisticated white Eames’ chairs, the rustic exposed ceiling beams in the kitchen and sea-blue chest of drawers in the bedroom.

We are a family of 5 with a daughter age 9, son age 7 and daughter age 2. We love to travel and create memories all over the world and have just returned from a 4 month trip around the world. Our favourite places are Vietnam and Cambodia in Asia and closer to home in Pembrokeshire Wales where we have our holiday home.
