The home’s location is also ideal for families - close to grocery stores, shopping centers, restaurants (all within 10 minutes), and only 5 minutes from an indoor play place in case of rainy days. The resort also offers daily family-friendly activities (such as bracelet making, poolside movie nights, karaoke competitions, and more) so you can treat yourself to some well-earned downtime knowing the kids are happily entertained.

Why Kids Love it

From the moment they arrive, kids will be enchanted by this home’s magical touches. They’ll love sleeping in their own Lilo & Stitch or Winnie the Pooh-themed rooms, filled with colorful decor that brings their favorite characters to life. Each bedroom has its own TV, so they can unwind with their favorite shows or movies after a day of adventure. The Tom & Jerry room even has a PS3 gaming console for extra entertainment. Beyond the bedrooms, kids will have endless fun splashing in the private pool, playing with the provided toys and books, and enjoying the resort’s daily activities, from bracelet-making to poolside movie nights, karaoke, and more. It’s a playful paradise they’ll never want to leave!

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 1 night. The home is located in a gated resort community with on-site security for added peace of mind. Guests have full access to the resort’s amenities, including a clubhouse with a fitness center (open daily), tennis courts, a volleyball area, and a children’s playground. Resort access is charged at a one-time $35 fee per stay (not per guest). Pool heating is available for $30 per day. Please let the host know in advance if you'd like it turned on during your stay. Parking is available for 2 cars in the driveway. Complimentary Wi-Fi, Disney+, and Netflix are included for your stay. The private pool does NOT have a safety net or safety fence; parents and guardians must supervise children at all times when using the pool area. A rental car is recommended for getting around, but rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are readily available.

About the Location

The house is located in the gated Solterra Resort community, just 20 minutes from Walt Disney World and Orlando’s world-famous theme parks in Florida. You’ll be 10 minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping centers, so everything you need is within easy reach. Families will love the nearby attractions, including an indoor play center 5 minutes away, and a variety of parks and playgrounds within a short drive. On-site at the resort, you’ll find a children’s playground, tennis courts, volleyball area, and a clubhouse with a fitness center. The family attractions are within easy reach: it’s 30 minutes to Universal Studios Orlando, 25 minutes to SeaWorld Orlando and 35 minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Accommodation Details

The house has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. Parents will love the fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, spacious dining area, and private primary kingsize suite. The Lilo-and-Stitch-themed room has a queensize bed, while the Tom-and-Jerry room has a kingsize bed (ideal for teens). The Winne-the-pooh themed room has a single-over double bunk bed - ideal for kids. A crib is also available for families with little ones. Step outside to your own private screened pool and patio, ideal for cooling off or dining alfresco.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

Theme park town

Ten miles from Disneyworld Florida, it’s no surprise that most people you meet in Davenport are headed for the theme park. The town itself is quiet and friendly, with a number of grocery stores and restaurants ideally set up for visitors. It’s a great jumping off point for Epcot, MGM Studios, Universal Studios, Wet’n’Wild Water Park and plenty more, on offer in Orlando a short drive away.
