The house is secure in a gated community, right off Scenic Gulf Drive and just 35 minutes from Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport. Parents will appreciate the light and airy open plan living, while golf enthusiasts will have plenty of courses to choose from including the nearby 18-hole course Links Golf Club Miramar Beach.

Why Kids Love it

Kids will love sleeping together in the bunk room and splashing in the pool. There are also 2 large community pools included in your stay, located at each end of the neighborhood for even more wet play. Both pools have restrooms, showers and lounge chairs for sunbathing. Nature lovers will enjoy Topsail Hill Preserve State Park (15 minutes’ drive) where you can find scenic fishing and picnic spots, viewpoints, as well as camping and biking trails. There are also plenty of things to do in downtown Destin including the Adventure Zone with ziplining and high ropes, Baytowne Carousel, and Blast Arcade and Laser Maze. Across the street is a park area for playing ball games.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 2 nights. Self-check-in via the front door keypad – the code will be sent on the morning of your arrival. No pets, smoking or candles / flame source. If you break house rules, you’ll be charged a $1000 fine per infraction per day. You must be at least 25 to rent this property and be present for the duration of the stay. Hosts are available around the clock for assistance. Children should be supervised around the pool, where there are some sharp corners, and on the upstairs balcony. Restaurants, beach bars and groceries are a short walk from the property.

About the Location

Miramar Beach in Walton County, Florida is known for its 26 miles of soft golden sand and palm trees. Get out on the water with a jet ski rental, parasailing, stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. Or dive beneath the surface to see coral, tropical fish and jellyfish on Dolphin Reef, just off the coast. Downtown Destin is 15 minutes away and offers dining, private fishing charters and waterfront entertainment. For shopaholics, it’s a short hop to Grand Boulevard from here – an upscale outdoor center with brands like Anthropologie, Lululemon, Lilly Pulitzer and Williams Sonoma.

This residence has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on 2 floors with ungated stairs. The first floor opens to a living room with double-height ceilings and a fully-stocked chef’s kitchen. On this floor are 2 bedrooms: 1 queensize and 1 kingsize with an ensuite bathroom. Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms: 2 kingsize (1 is the primary suite with its own private balcony terrace leading down to the pool) and 1 kids’ room with 2 twinsize bunk beds. This floor has 2 additional bathrooms and an office. Outside is an outdoor shower, pool, grill, outdoor dining furniture and outdoor fireplace. The house is also equipped with a washer / dryer.

The living space is filled with natural light with lots of comfy furniture to escape the sun or read a book. The dining table is great for enjoying memorable meals and seats up to 10. Payment policy
Kid & Coe will collect 50% of the total stay as a deposit if the check-in date of stay is more than 12 weeks away. The remaining balance of 50% will be collected at 12 weeks from check in. If the booking is made within 12 weeks of the check-in date, the full amount of the stay will be charged at time of booking acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified at 12 weeks or more from the check in date, Guests can either opt for a full credit equal to the value of the amount paid, or opt for a monetary refund less 10% of the total cost of the booking, given as a Kid & Coe credit. For cancellations notified at 12 weeks or less, no refunds will be given. In addition to the host’s policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 10% of the booking total.
