Style Notes

Relaxed French family fun. This delightful stone cottage offers comfortable accommodation with a cosy touch. The honey-colored stone walls and exposed wooden beams are reminders of the cottage’s past and are complimented by the carefully chosen antique furniture and traditional furnishings. The unfussy, practical vibe is carried through with white linens, wooden floors and neutral colours. We love the patio area outside with the al fresco dining table, BBQ and parasol, the large stove in the living room for cooler days, and the see-through dining chairs that add a touch of whimsical fun.

Dordogne, Southwest France

The green heart of France

The rural farming heart of France is a fantastic destination for a family getaway, amid fields of sunflowers and pretty market towns. The Dordogne river itself is good for canoeing and swimming, and there are castles and chateaux to explore, caves painted with prehistoric images and, this being France, sensational food.
