Why Kids Love it

Kids of all ages will love this fun and playful house. The children’s rooms are quirky and colorful, with cute wall paint effects or wallpaper and bunk beds to share. There’s also a pool table (which converts to the dining table) so kids can challenge parents to a game after dinner. For days out, it’s just 15 minutes’ walk to South Kensington for the city’s most famous family-friendly museums: the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the V&A.

Things to Know

No smoking, pets or parties. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which must be signed and submitted. Please note: this property has 2 floors and no step free access to reach the entrance. Another residence occupies the upper floors above. Heathrow airport is around 40 minutes by car or train.

About the Location

This residence is located in Earl’s Court, London. It’s 7 minutes’ walk to Earl’s Court or High Street Kensington subway stations; or 10 minutes to Gloucester Road. High Street Kensington is a great local neighborhood for shopping and eateries, as well as the home of the Design Museum at Holland Park (which also has a great adventure playground). It’s less than half an hour’s walk to Hyde Park and a 10-minute taxi ride to Notting Hill.

Accommodation Details

The property has 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. On the ground floor, there is an open plan kitchen with a breakfast bar, dining area with circular table, and French doors leading to the garden. This leads to a separate dining room (or sometimes pool table!) and a separate living room. The ground floor also has a WC. On the lower ground floor, the primary bedroom boasts a super kingsize bed and French doors to the garden. The ensuite bathroom here has a walk-in shower plus separate bathtub. The second bedroom has a set of bunk beds plus and ensuite shower room; the third bedroom has a double bed plus an ensuite shower room; the fourth bedroom has a double bed and French doors to the garden. The family bathroom has a shower-over-bath.

Style Notes

Color drama. This striking home has been designed with color and courage in mind. Stunning high ceilings and bay windows are complemented by contemporary styling - think statement light fixtures, black crittal-effect doors and contrasting paint hues on the walls. We love the painted ceilings which create a deep and cozy den-like feel to the room, as well as the bold patterned wallpapers and the quirky ‘hidden’ design wall on the inside of the breakfast bar.

When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
Full refund (less 3% processing fee) when cancelling at least 5 days before arrival, 50% refund if cancelling less than 5 days before arrival.
