This is open plan, indoor/outdoor living at its best: soaring ceilings, a wonderful back deck with fire pit and sofa, a vast kitchen / living /dining space and plenty of privacy and space for all. The 5 bedrooms and multiple living spaces make it easy for a large family or families traveling together to enjoy the East Hamptons lifestyle.

Why Kids Love it

Designed with children in mind, this house includes a fantastic kids bedroom, cribs, a high chair, a play room, an outdoor jungle gym and a pool with safety fence and kids pool vests, goggles and toys. The house is filled with toys and books for kids under 7, and the open plan layout makes it easy to enjoy and play together. The kids bedroom has twin beds and a crib and features a swinging chair. The playroom features stimulating toys, puzzles, arts and crafts and a train set. Also on offer: a travel crib, children's bath toys and feeding supplies.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 2 weeks except for July and August where the minimum is 30 nights. The pool has a safety gate; kids will need to be supervised around the fire pit on the deck (when lit) and on any ungated stairs. A sofa bed sleeping 1-2 is also available in addition to the beds, as are 2 travel cribs and a crib. Nearby attractions include East Hampton tennis club, a short walk away, and Wölffer Estate Vineyard, 8 minutes' away. East Hampton airport is a 6-minute drive away.

About the Location

This private family home is ideally located between the beach and East Hampton village, and is a 5-minute drive/15-minute walk to both. Nearby you'll find shops, restaurants, grocery stores, a library and playground. New York City is just under 3 hours away and can be reached by car or Jitney; a car is useful for this destination. The closest international airports are in New York City.

Accommodation Details

This 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom beach house style home has an open plan downstairs with kitchen, living room and dining areas leading to the deck. The back yard includes a grassy garden and a gated pool. Bedrooms comprise a master bedroom with a queen bed and ensuite bath (shower no tub) on the top floor with a kids bedroom with 2 twin beds and a crib and a full bathroom with shower and tub. On the first floor there is a bedroom with a full/double bed and a full bathroom with a shower. In the basement there are 2 bedrooms with windows, each with a queensize bed, and a full bath with a shower and tub.

Modern beach house. This newly-renovated home is a symphony of neutral tones with all clean lines and high ceilinged, light-filled rooms. Sitting on an acre of land south of the highway in the historic East Hampton estates district, this house offers indoor-outdoor living with a large deck and garden, tall windows and uncluttered spaces focusing on the views. Folding doors in the main living area allow an extension through to the garden for warm days. We love the kids bedroom with its hanging chair, and the serene and light main living space.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

Mansions and main beach

East Hampton is this affluent playground’s most fashionable town, known for its grand houses and estates as much for its readings and exhibitions. The main draw is Main Beach, a beautiful coastline with clean sands, inviting waters, professional lifeguards, plenty of space and millionaire mansions on the banks. LongHouse Reserve, with its enchanting sculpture garden, and Hither Hills State Park are also worth a visit.
