Sitting high on a hill in East Hampton's Clearwater private beach community, this newly-renovated home is the perfect beach house for your family vacation. It sleeps 10. This home is perfect for families! There's plenty of space for privacy but also an open-plan main floor where everyone can come together. The primary bedroom and bathroom are filled with light and you can see the stars through the abundant skylights (and from the shower) so it’s a truly relaxing space for parents. Families will love spending their days at the local private beach or exploring the beautiful sandy shores of The Hamptons in summer.

Kids of all ages will love this home and this location: from the pool to the nearby beaches, there's something for everyone. The lower level has a super-comfy media/play room, with games, puzzles and art supplies, and plenty of space to play, so the kids will love hanging out there when it’s time to relax and recharge. The hosts are happy to help set up anything you may need for your family to make it completely suitable for your stay.

Things to Know

The home is in a lovely, private community, close to many bay beaches, parks, galleries, restaurants and markets. Minimum stay: 1 week - also available for full summer seasonal rental and off-season September-May rental. Safety notes: the pool can be fenced in, if needed. Pets are welcome on request. Access to the local beach is for residents with a keycard only - available for guests to use during their stay. Car rental is essential to explore the local beaches and towns in the Hamptons.

About the Location

The house is located just a few minutes’ drive from Clearwater Beach and Marina - in a private community, surrounded by water on all sides. Catch the sunrise on one of the bay beaches to the east, and the sunset from another beach to the west at the end of your day.There are farmers markets, general stores, and a sprinkling of wonderful coffee spots and restaurants nearby. At the nearby private beach, there is a playground, picnic tables and loads of fun for kids (and adults!). The town of East Hampton is less than 15 minutes’ drive; NYC is around 3 hours away for international airports.

Accommodation Details

The house has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, set over 3 floors and covering 2800 sqft. The main level offers an open living space: you’ll find a kitchen with island breakfast bar, dining area (dining table is expandable to seat 8-10), living room with fireplace, and a guest bedroom (with twin beds) and full bathroom. The upper level has 2 bedrooms (1 twin and 1 queensize), a full bathroom, plus an oversized primary kingsize bedroom with a large ensuite bathroom and cozy office space. Additional amenities include a finished lower level with a media room and bonus single bedroom, a great home gym, a large fenced-in yard, pool and an outdoor fire pit.

Style Notes

Relaxed luxury. The hosts have collected furniture and decor from their travels and local yard sale to create an authentic beachy-chic feel, without too many ‘precious’ items, so kids can play freely and parents can relax. The home feels airy and open, as well as super cozy, with stunning skylights adding light and creating a ‘treehouse’ feeling to this quiet escape. We love the surf-style artwork and driftwood details, as well as the beautiful garden flora: the back deck is surrounded by huge hydrangea bushes blooming white all summer and overlooked by a giant cherry blossom tree exploding with pink flowers during June.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

Mansions and main beach

East Hampton is this affluent playground’s most fashionable town, known for its grand houses and estates as much for its readings and exhibitions. The main draw is Main Beach, a beautiful coastline with clean sands, inviting waters, professional lifeguards, plenty of space and millionaire mansions on the banks. LongHouse Reserve, with its enchanting sculpture garden, and Hither Hills State Park are also worth a visit.
