Perks for the Parents

Enjoy a fun, care-free vacation at this contemporary Hamptons home, which comes with a heated pool, beautiful outdoor deck and toys for children under 10. It sleeps 6 + 1. Parents will love the stylish modern interiors here, as well as the superb location - less than 10 minutes by bike Maidstone Park Beach and just a few minutes’ drive to the world-class eateries of East Hampton. The open plan living space and large dining room table are perfect for big family meals, and the outdoor dining table and BBQ are ideal for eating al fresco

Why Kids Love it

There's a dedicated kids' room with bunk beds and plenty of toys and books for kids under 10. The hosts supply booster chairs, a pack-n-play, a children’s table and chairs, a play tent, pool toys and inflatables, so you won’t have to bring all the kids gear along with you. They’ll enjoy playing out in the yard and running around in the woods, and the house is located off of a quiet, kid friendly cul-de-sac that’s safe for walking and cycling - the hosts have outdoor toys and bikes for kids too.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: Priority given to month long stays in July and August. Discounts will be offered for stays of a month or longer. Safety notes: children should not be left unattended in the fenced-in pool area, an adult should be watching and ready to jump in at all times. When not in the pool, the latches on the porch fence doors are kept closed for extra security. The porch off of the house is closed off by gates which adds another level to the child pool proofing. The pool is heated but should stay under 80 degrees (F). There is an outdoor shower that is currently not in use. The property is sprayed with all natural cedar oil once a month for ticks, but they can still be around so it's worth checking every night. Parking is available for 3 cars - car rental is recommended.

About the Location

The house is located a 3-minute drive (or a 10-minute bike ride) from the beautiful Bay beaches in the Springs, East Hampton. It’s 12 minutes to the ocean beaches at East Hampton and Amagansett. There are no beach passes required for individuals but parking is strictly enforced by the town at the ocean beaches. Non residents can buy daily parking passes at Atlantic Ave Beach in Amagansett on Mon-Fri. only and excluding holidays. At 12 minutes from the house, Atlantic is the host's favorite beach with lifeguards and the Beach Hut for lunch. Kirk Park Beach in Montauk has open parking all year round and is 25 minutes drive from the house. Parking fills up quickly, so the earlier the better! There are bay beaches that are walkable/bike-able including Maidstone (15 min bike ride on a road with traffic so caution must be taken), it features a couple of bays and alcoves. There is a train station and Jitney stop in East Hampton (12 minutes’ drive) as well as countless eateries, farmers markets, playgrounds and a cinema. It’s less than 5 minutes’ drive to Pollock-Krasner House and 5 minutes’ walk to Maidstone Park and marina. The international airports in New York City are around 2.5 hours away.

Playful retro. This modern, bright home boasts high ceilings and a spacious open layout with neutral white walls to create a contemporary look, punctuated with colorful furniture and a few subtle retro pieces. The house comes with a record player and a new smart TV, as well as a sleek all-white kitchen that’s ideal for rustling up family meals. We love the bright and bold Adirondack chairs, the coastal-inspired artwork in the living room and the eye-catching glossy red desk in the bedroom.

East Hampton, The Hamptons

Mansions and main beach

East Hampton is this affluent playground’s most fashionable town, known for its grand houses and estates as much for its readings and exhibitions. The main draw is Main Beach, a beautiful coastline with clean sands, inviting waters, professional lifeguards, plenty of space and millionaire mansions on the banks. LongHouse Reserve, with its enchanting sculpture garden, and Hither Hills State Park are also worth a visit.

We had a wonderful time at the Wildflower Road Residence! My kids loved all the toys, my husband and I enjoyed the spacious kitchen/dining and the location was perfect - close to beaches, restaurants and plenty of activities for our family. Beautiful home and great stay!

Three generations of our family enjoyed an easy and fun stay at this house, we wouldn’t hesitate to book it again! The space is bright, clean and well-configured. It's mainly on one level but bedrooms are very private from the living space. The combo of clean, mid-century styled furniture mixes well with the owner’s eclectic touches so the house has plenty of character without losing its functionality and comfort. There's a ton for children to love: the ample toys and books in the kids room, the art-filled cabinet in the dining room and the main attraction of the pool with oversized floats. The deck is spacious and great for lounging and the heated pool was the highlight. Laura’s instructions and tips were clear and she was perfectly attentive during our stay. We can’t wait to go back next summer!
