This large Hamptons home with a pool is close to Shinnecock Bay, Westhampton, Southampton and Sag Harbor, and has beaches under 5 miles away. Outdoor space includes a newly renovated pool patio, outdoor kitchen, outdoor shower, new extended deck overlooking the swimming pool, and lawned gardens beyond it made for playing ball. Inside, there is a large living space, family-sized kitchen and 5 bedrooms. Bring the kids and make it a family summer in the Hamptons to remember. Cruise the inlets, play in the dunes and spend light evenings barbecuing fresh fish together.

Why Kids Love it

This spacious home has a large heated pool in the back yard for lap swimming and pool games, all overlooked by a wrap-around deck with comfy sofas and sun umbrella and a lawned garden for ball games. The closest beach is 4.5 miles away, making days out easy by car, and a newly built outdoor shower makes cleaning off a breeze. Note that there are no items for small children provided, including cribs, high chairs and toys; they may be provided by Kid & Coe’s baby equipment rental partner. Pool toys are provided; bring toys, bikes and DVDs with you.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 14 days. There is an additional charge for gas used to heat the pool, based on the amount of gas used. Note that the pool has no guard or gate - young children will need extra supervision. The whole house has air conditioning and bedrooms have blackout shades. There is WiFi throughout. Parking is available at the property.

About the Location

The residence is in East Quogue, close to Shinnecock Bay in a quiet village setting, an easy car ride from Westhampton, Southampton and Sag Harbor. It is 90 minutes from New York City by car or 2 hours by train with a station in Hampton Bays 10 minutes’ away. There is a local airport, Francis S. Gabreski, 10 minutes’ drive away. Car hire is recommended for exploration of the Hamptons at large.

Accommodation Details

This 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom property is laid out with 2 bedrooms downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs. There is a spacious living-dining area with dining table seating up to 10, a family-sized kitchen with oven, stove, dishwasher and coffee maker, and outdoor eating areas on the 2 decks, outdoor kitchen and grill. A TV room/playroom in the basement has a DVD player. Bedrooms comprise 1 with kingsize bed, 2 with queensize beds and 2 twin bedrooms ideal for kids. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 with showers and 1 with a bath.

Style Notes

Beach style. With high ceiling, muted colors and lovely gardens, this is a classic Hamptons family home with plenty for everyone to enjoy. Sit out on the deck and enjoy a coffee while the kids run around on the grass or splash in the pool. Bedrooms all have individual style while the classic beach house feel runs through the main living areas. We love the easy going style, enormous bedrooms and sunny and shaded outside lounge areas on the deck.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

Facing Shinnecock Bay, this quiet village has waterfront restaurants and a stellar deli and is ideal for a quiet beach vacation. Play in the dunes, hire a boat and enjoy bonfires and barbecues in the evenings. It’s a short drive from Westhampton, Southampton and Sag Harbor.

We had a wonderful time at the Coolidge Lane Residence.. The house is beautiful and spacious, and we, and our grandkids loved the pool and the beach. Also, the surrounding area has great restaurants. Love the place! Renee and Izzy

It's such a cozy, pretty house. It felt like home the whole the time we were there. The pool is awesome and we just had a great time there.

We had a wonderful time in Carole's beautiful home. The house is large and well-set up for multiple families. The pool and yard are spacious and fun. There are a number of lovely beaches just a short drive away. We would absolutely come back to East Quogue and would love to work with Carole again!
