The Amedeo Residence
Perks for the Parents
The residence is ideal for a small family of 4, with kid-friendly furniture, toys and a huge and comfortable kitchen with a long table to enjoy dinners, breakfast and chats during your stay. Easy access for buggies and prams, and nice parks and playgrounds nearby. Rome’s stellar attractions, including the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Roman Forum, are under 20 minutes away by bus or tube.
Why Kids Love it
The apartment has plenty of toys and books for kids under 10 and is a great family space with a living room large enough for wheeled toys. It is a short walk from local playgrounds and the kids room is bright and colorful. A crib, high chair, baby toys and a baby bath can be provided on request. The kids room has 2 toddler beds and a crib plus 2 travel cribs are also available.
Things to Know
Minimum stay: 2 nights. On the first floor with no elevator. The flat is safe and secure but please take extra care with the stairs that lead to the mezzanine - they are not ideal for young children. Note that the property is best for a single family - it only has doors on the bathroom and is otherwise open plan. No pets allowed. No smoking. Bicycles for everyone are available on request. Parking is easy on the road outside for €4 per day.
About the Location
Central location between the Esquilino and Monti areas, full of family-friendly cafés, excellent restaurants, independent shops and vibrant and enjoyable spots. Termini station (the easiest and fastest way to reach other destinations/airports) is just 10 minutes away. The tube station and local buses are just a few minutes walk away. The nearest international airport is 35 minutes away.
Accommodation Details
Two bedroom 1-floor apartment with a large living room and an open-plan kitchen. The flat is conceived as a small loft and is largely open-plan. The primary bedroom is on a mezzanine with a double bed, and the kids room is compact with 2 single beds (the photo of this room shows the beds pushed together). There's also 1 baby crib available. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and no bathtub; note that a baby bath is available.
Style Notes
Bright and modern with designer touches. The dominant colour is white with several kids masterpieces on the walls of art and tchotchkes. Design details are not spared in the kids room which has a large map of the world on the wall. We love the main living space with its retro bike, eye-catching art, cowskin recliner and play tent.

Esquilino, Rome
Views of the Alban hills
This central area near the Termini railway station isn’t beautiful but delivers in terms of location and ease of getting to the city’s key sights. Visit Piazza Vittorio, one of the city’s largest squares, the Mercato Esquilino, an open air morning market, and seek out coffee shops and osteria much beloved by the locals that don’t have a tourist menu.
