Style Notes

Modern rustic. This newly-renovated property combines old and new, with polished concrete floors and stunning bathrooms throughout alongside traditional window frames, reclaimed wood and sensational views. The rotating Gyro focus fireplace in the middle of the living room sits beside a reclaimed wood table and antique airplane wood propeller light to give the house a unique design look. We love the egg-shaped white bath for family bath time, the recessed shelves in the double bunk beds, ideal for toys, and the wonderful outdoor space.

We are a London based family with two girls (10 and 12). Provence is our holiday home which we love sharing with family and friends.

Eygalières, Provence

Medieval ruins and market stalls

This pretty village in the heart of Provence is perched in the northern Alpilles mountains and has medieval ruins along with shops, restaurants and bakeries. On a Friday, market stalls selling local produce line the stone streets and draw in plenty of local visitors. It’s a charming little village and is in a great location for exploring the area, with Avignon, Arles, Aix, Saint Remy and Les Baux de Provence all under hour’s drive away.

Our family of 3 and our friends (family of 4), spent a dreamy 2 weeks at Mas des Pins in Provence. The home was beautiful and comfortable, with plenty of room for adults and kids, alfresco dinners on the patio, a great pool and shady lounge area for hot afternoons and A/C for those hot summer days. The house is located in a cute village and a great launch pad for day trips around Provence.

What an incredible stay. The house is just beautiful, modern and perfect to accommodate your own family or multiple families traveling together. We loved that there are three rooms that feel like "main suites" with queen beds and en suite bathrooms, plus a bunk room and extra room with two twin beds. The house itself is wonderful - the incredible wall-to-ceiling windows, gorgeous views from the property, stunning pool to relax by. We were traveling with a baby and the home had a high chair and pack and play so we didn't need to bring them. Alison was on hand to help meet us at the home and answer questions during our stay (including where to get medical help when I got an eye infection on the trip!). And we adored Eygalieres - the house is perfectly situated right in town, so you can walk just 1 minute and get ice cream or crepes for the kids. Some of our favorites during the stay: a cheese plate from Chez Emily (order a day in advance - one of the best cheese plates I've had) and dinner at Chez Paulette (make a reservation and go on the weekends when they close the main street to cars and it is pedestrian only). What a perfect home and visit!

We had an amazing time at the Mas Des Pins residence. The house is immaculate and the town of Eygalieres is unbelievably charming. It is a few steps to the town with amazing restaurants, a cheese shop, butcher and bakery. We loved taking day trips in the area and relaxing by the pool in the afternoon.

We have just returned from an amazing family holiday at The Mas Des Pins Residence. The house is beautiful, even more so that the photos suggest, spacious, light and airy with wonderful views of the alpines from the upstairs terrace and pool. Our children loved the house, garden and swimming pool and so, although there is so much to explore locally, we hardly left the house - instead having a truly relaxing holiday. When in the house and garden it feels like a total oasis of calm but it's actually just at the top of the main street, 100m of so to beautiful village shops (bakery, cheese shop, butchers) and cafe's/ restaurants - this is the perfect spot and its no wonder village centre properties in Eygalieres are so sought after. We loved, wandering down to the buy baguettes in the morning and out to the cafe's and restaurants in the evening (the market on Friday is also incredible). Masha and Marie Anne (who was around locally) were also great hosts, extremely responsive and friendly. Needless to say we highly recommend!
