Style Notes

Understated luxury. This beautiful traditional Provencal house is exquisitely styled with French antiques, flea market finds and vintage pieces. Old wood beams line the kitchen ceiling while the cinema room, dining space and living room are framed with beautiful whitewashed, arched stone. Cooling terracotta tiles and stone tiles run throughout the 1st floor. Designer furniture and contemporary bathrooms bring a modern counterpoint to the ancient building. Décor is carefully considered yet appears effortless. We love the clawfoot soaking tub and vintage metal cupboard in the X bathroom, the downstairs master bedroom with its leather chaise longue and angular designer armchairs, and the to-die-for pool area and gardens filled with fragrant Mediterranean plants.

Provence is my roots, where I grew up. I love the unique light, the heat in summer, the cosy winters, the food, the people. All the properties I manage have been carefully selected and are kids friendly. I know my region inside out and I can help you plan your holidays. For your kids, many activities, potery, art classes, cooking classes, climb tree experiences, fishing, canoeing etc.. For you, parents: Wine tour, Air tour above Alpilles and Luberon, cooking class or private chef at home, perfume making etc... or just enjoying Provence art de vivre !

Eygalières, Provence

Medieval ruins and market stalls

This pretty village in the heart of Provence is perched in the northern Alpilles mountains and has medieval ruins along with shops, restaurants and bakeries. On a Friday, market stalls selling local produce line the stone streets and draw in plenty of local visitors. It’s a charming little village and is in a great location for exploring the area, with Avignon, Arles, Aix, Saint Remy and Les Baux de Provence all under hour’s drive away.

we absolutely loved our stay! the house was amazing and the perfect location and size for our multiple family holiday with all our children. Amelie was amazingly helpful from beginning to end helping us to plan drivers, wine tours, chefs and babysitters which made our stay all the more special.

We stayed at the Mas Paradis for a week around New Year's eve. The house is very nice, both stylish and comfy, just like in the pictures. Eygalières is a perfect village, with great grocery shopping and market but still small and not too touristy. We were a group of 8 and had plenty of space thanks to the different lounges and the two staircases giving access to the first floor. The kitchen is huge and very well equipped. The lady who offers catering services was great ! The garden, pool and tennis lawn look beautiful although we could not enjoy them in winter time. We did not meet Amelie but were easily in touch with her by message. A few disappointments : we had to buy light bulbs for a number of lamps that were out when we arrived; no tablecloth or napkin which is a pity considering the standing of the house; no working fireplace despite our request but we understand that there was an issue with other guests and the owners changed the policy on this point just before we arrived. Overall a very nice stay in the beautiful Alpilles !
