Why Kids Love it
This home is ideal for parents with young children, toddlers and babies: there’s a dedicated nursery with a cot and changing facilities, ideal for a little guest up to 2 years old. There's also 1 travel cot available on request and a toddler bed best suited to guests under 7 years old. Older kids will love sharing the bunk beds in the jungle-themed kids room, and they’ll find plenty of books to enjoy during their stay. The spacious garden even boasts a climbing frame, and there’s an adventure playground just 1 minute away.
Things to Know
No pets, parties or smoking.The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which you are required to sign and submit. Set over 3 floors, this home does involve a few stairs. The second bedroom is a little short on storage space, so you might need to share. One room on the top floor (not pictured) will be locked with no access, as will the garden shed.
About the Location
This residence is located between Finsbury Park and Archway in north London. Just down the road is Finsbury Park itself, ideal for a welcome walk, outdoor gym session or trip to the playground. Nearby Crouch End is known for its artsy neighborhood, offering a slew of independent cafes and restaurants. The nearest stations are Crouch Hill (7 minutes’ walk), Finsbury Park (15 minutes’ walk) and Upper Holloway (10 minutes’ walk). Heathrow airport is around 1 hour away by car or train.
Accommodation Details
The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, set over 3 floors. On the main entry level, you’ll find an open plan kitchen/dining room which leads to the garden at the back and a separate living room at the front. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms (1 queensize guest room, 1 kids room with a set of bunk beds and a nursery with a toddler bed and a crib) and 2 bathrooms, one of which has a bathtub. On the top floor, there’s a kingsize bedroom and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Style Notes
Family fun. Downstairs blends modernist interiors with the cozy comforts of a traditional bay window in the living room. The hosts have chosen a contemporary style for the kitchen, with a large skylight, glass doors, a Scandi sleek white kitchen and minimalist furniture. We love the playful jungle walls in the kids room, the mottled mirror bathroom tiles and the charming Victorian brick exterior.
