Perks for the Parents
Soak in the panoramic views of the sea from this beautiful Tuscan coastal villa. It sleeps 8. Featuring a manicured garden on 3 sides, this sunny villa has an astounding terrace overlooking the sea and Giannutri island, perfect for a peaceful morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The rounded terrace is ideal for socializing or alfresco family meals, enjoying splendid views of the coast, Monte Argentario and the wild Feniglia beach. Choose from multiple areas to dine and unwind, both indoor and outdoor, while the kids play happily out on the lawn.
Why Kids Love it
There are multiple split level steps inside and access to the sea is not gated, so it may be better suited to older kids or teens. While the villa doesn’t have toys or books for little children, there is a cute bunk room for kids to share and a private garden so they can spend lots of time enjoying the outdoors. There are lots of different sandy beaches to explore in this area and it’s a short drive from the Cosa archeological and historical site, which curious kids will love to explore.

This home has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, divided into 2 levels and an annex with a double bedroom and bathroom with a shower on the ground level, which can be accessed only through a flight of stairs from outside. On the ground floor, there is a main living room with a dedicated sitting area, fireplace, satellite TV and a stylish dining area, as well as a separate kitchen. This floor also has 1 bedroom with bunk beds and an ensuite shower room. Upstairs, there’s a second living room with a relaxation zone as well as the primary suite with a double bed, ensuite shower room and a quaint terrace under a thatched roof overlooking the sea. Style Notes
Natural coastal. The house blends warm wooden textures and exposed ceiling timber beams with seaside blue textiles and terracotta flooring. Exposed stone walls and beach-inspired artwork reference the coastal location, while vibrant blue-and-white tiling in the kitchen has a traditional feel. We love the quirky curved sofa, the geometric bathroom tiles and the retro-style walnut cabinetry.

Florence, Tuscany
Art, architecture and an antique carousel
Known for its incredible art galleries, architecture and Michelangelo’s David, the capital of Tuscany has plenty for parents with an eye for beauty, and it doesn’t let the younger generation down either. Play hide and seek in Baroque gardens, seek out the best gelateria in the city (you need to test a few to be sure), or ride on the antique carousel in Piazza Repubblica. Take a guided tour of the Uffizi or try a fashion workshop for under 12s at the Gucci Museum. Eat pizza, climb the narrow corridor to the top of the Duomo or buy wooden toys at Bartolucci’s. Then start planning for your return visit.
