Set in the exclusive Golden Isles gated boating community, this ultra stylish residence offers up panoramic waterside views as well as a private dock, heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. It sleeps 8+3. Canalside living doesn’t get much dreamier than this, with lush lawns surrounded by palm trees, spacious, contemporary interiors and a primary ensuite bedroom with a kingsize bed and wall to wall windows bringing in the views. With 2 further ensuite bedrooms, a twin room set up for the kids and airy open plan living, there’s more than enough space for 1 large family or 2 groups. The heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi offer fun for both kids and adults - and are the perfect vantage point for watching the boats cruise by. Perfectly set up to make the most of its fabulous location, there are plenty of alfresco gathering spots including a contemporary veranda for alfresco waterside dining. The outdoor kitchen and dining table are overhung by pretty festoon lighting setting the scene for evening soirees. For those who can prize themselves away from the house, there are tennis courts, restaurants, shops and 2 excellent beaches within easy reach.

Why Kids Love it

Kids can play at being captain with some pretty unbeatable waterside seats for catching all the canalway action. There’s a lovely flat lawn beside the water, ideal for picnics and plenty of shady spaces for enjoying mealtimes by the water. The heated pool is bound to be a hit, perfectly set up for splash about fun and ideal for little ones and kids who prefer more temperate waters. On warmer days the residence offers airy, air-conditioned interiors with lots of space to chill. The separate living room is huge with plenty of floor space for little crawlers and energetic toddlers. In main space there’s a TV with Netflix and a games console for older ones after some tech themed downtime and the kids’ bedroom has toys, games and a fun play tent for the younger ones. If that's not enough, there are tennis and bocce ball courts and local parks within easy reach. Hallandale and Hollywood beaches are under a 10-minute drive away and fun-filled Miami is an easy day trip in the car. The hosts have beach chairs, towels and toys for the beach and can provide a baby crib, highchair, baby bath and stairgates for the home.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 3 nights. This residence is on the waterfront with direct, ungated access from the garden – and the pool and jacuzzi are not fenced so kids will need to be supervised while outside. The residence has good WiFi and air conditioning throughout. There is a separate office space for those who need to work, as well as desk spaces in two of the bedrooms. There’s a double sofa bed and a travel crib which can be set up to accommodate additional guests. There’s car parking on site; car hire is recommended to make the most of the area. The villa comes with a private 85ft dock which guests are free to use – you can rent a yacht or jet skis locally to make use of direct access to the Intracoastal with no fixed bridges. Pets are allowed, please ask the hosts for details at time of booking.

About the Location

The villa is located in Hallandale’s Golden Isles gated community, situated between Florida’s Fort Lauderdale to the north and Miami to the south. Part of an island network connected by bridges, it's surrounded by canals and comes with prime waterside views. There are plenty of attractions on the doorstep including Gulfstream Park Racing and Casino and the Aventura Mall, where guests can enjoy shopping, dining and entertainment. There are several parks and golf courses in under a 10-minute drive. Hollywood beach and lakes are also around 10 minutes away with beachside facilities and walks. Fort Lauderdale is a 23-minute drive north while Miami is 30 minutes south, both offering up beautiful beaches, vibrant city entertainment and international airports.

Accommodation Details

The residence has 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms set over 1 floor. The central living space consists of a large open plan living/kitchen/dining area with a corner sofa and wall mounted TV at one end, a dining table seating 6 in the ‘mid zone’ and a fully equipped kitchen behind with everything a guest would expect (including a dishwasher), as well as a kitchen island with seating for 4 people. There is a second separate living area with a fireplace, sofas, bookshelves and games across the hall. Both areas open directly onto the patio via glass doors. The spacious primary bedroom is on this side of the property and comes with a kingsize bed, ensuite bathroom and waterfront/garden views. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have queensize beds, desk space and ensuite bathrooms. The fourth bedroom has 2 single beds and is ideal for kids with a mini hanging wardrobe, games and its own shower room. The backyard was designed for hosting family and friends year-round and has plenty of outdoor furniture, a heated swimming pool, an in-ground jacuzzi, an outdoor kitchen with a sheltered dinning space and a lawn leading down to a private 85 ft dock.

Designed for getting family and friends together, spaces are made for socializing with flowing open plan living areas and a dinner party worthy veranda with outdoor kitchen-diner overlooking the water. We love the villa’s location – with its wonderful outdoor pool and jacuzzi surrounded by palm trees and water, it's impossible not to relax while watching boats cruise by to the coast.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
