Style Notes

Historic charm. This homely residence built in the 1860s by one of Fredericksburg’s original stonemasons, is filled with architectural details and updated with contemporary styling to create an inviting family abode. Each of the five bedrooms are carefully-decorated with local accents, while the Main House features a comfortable lounge area with a fireplace for cozy evenings. The historical marker at the entrance shows off the building’s rich history, as do the exposed stone walls and rustic wooden beams in the Sunday House. We love the quirky built-in shower within the stone walls, the traditional stag head in the living room and the charming upstairs balcony where you can watch the world go by.
