Parents will get a taste of local London life here, away from the tourist haunts of the city center and surrounded by neighborhood gems. The area is known for its plentiful parks, neighbourhood restaurants, the famous River Cafe and Fulham Palace.

Why Kids Love it

While it doesn’t come with lots of toys or books for little kids, there’s a cute little garden to run around and a park at the end of the street (Lillie Road recreation ground). In the other direction, you’ll find the waterfront footpaths which run alongside the river, leading to another playground. Soccer fans will love visiting the home of Fulham FC, which is a few blocks away or the Stamford Bridge stadium of Chelsea FC (10 minutes’ drive).

Things to Know

No smoking, pets or parties. This home is located on the first and second floors and has no elevator. The garden can be accessed via the spiral staircase adjacent to the kitchen - please note children should be supervised when using this. The house is managed by a property management team who can help with additional items such as a crib or high chair, available on request.

About the Location

It’s located between the charming riverside neighbourhoods of Fulham and Hammersmith and just a short walk from the Thames in West London. This road is just a few blocks from the famous River Cafe, known for being the place where Jamie Oliver started his career. There are bus routes from the end of the street to take you to Chelsea’s Kings Road or the South Kensington Museums in around half an hour. It’s around 15 minutes’ walk up to Hammersmith for tube and train links.

Accommodation Details

This 3-bedroom home spans the first and second floors of a beautiful period terraced house. Stairs lead up to the open plan kitchen and dining room, with a U-shaped kitchen and a dining table for 6. Up another set of stairs and you’ll find the living room. The first bedroom has 1 single bed, ideal for kids, while the second bedroom has a double. The top floor primary bedroom boasts a kingsize bed. There’s a bathroom on each floor.

With bold colours, rustic touches, deep tones and rich textures, this home feels comfortable and classic. The living room boasts a green colour scheme, adding a sense of calm, while the contemporary kitchen is softened by the wooden countertops. When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
Full refund (less 3% processing fee) when cancelling at least 5 days before arrival, 50% refund if cancelling less than 5 days before arrival. In addition to the hostU+FFE2s policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 15% of the booking total.
