Perks for the Parents
A charming townhouse nestled within one of Fulham's leafy residential streets, perfect for a family gathering. It sleeps 10. Boasting a sumptuous sitting room, an office and reading space, as well as a large open-plan kitchen and diner - there’s more than enough room for parents to unwind in comfort. Spend your days sightseeing in the city or shopping in west London’s most exclusive boutiques, before returning to the luxurious kitchen or the private outdoor seating area - a lovely, peaceful spot to sit and enjoy a drink that feels worlds away from the busy streets of London.
Why Kids Love it
The house doesn’t come with toys or books for little ones, but there’s plenty of bedrooms to accommodate children or grandparents and the area is full of London families. It’s just around the corner from Normand Park, which boasts a playground, climbing wall, skate park and outdoor gym. Sports fans can visit the Queens Club Tennis ground or Stamford Bridge, the home of Chelsea FC (both 15 minutes’ walk) and it’s an easy subway ride (or 10 minutes’ drive) to South Kensington for the city’s best family-friendly museums: the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the V&A.
Things to Know
The house is set over 3 floors and there is no elevator. A travel crib is available. Complimentary toiletries are included. Sorry - no pets, no parties and no smoking. Check in: 4pm. Check out: 10am. Heathrow airport is around 45 minutes by car or train.
About the Location
This residence is located in Fulham, west London. Fulham Broadway station is approximately 10 minutes’ walk away, while Parsons Green or West Brompton are 15 minutes on foot. Fulham Broadway has a bustling high street of shops, eateries, a Whole Foods and more; another 10 minutes on foot will take you to the popular Fulham Road shopping and dining district. Head down towards the river at Putney for the Fulham farmers market on Sundays (15 minutes' walk).
Accommodation Details
The house has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, set over 3 floors. On the main level you’ll find a cozy living room and a unique split-level kitchen/dining room, which boasts a work space on a mezzanine floor and opens out to a private patio. Upstairs, the primary bedroom has a super kingsize bed and plenty of closet space. There are 2 more kingsize rooms and 1 double room on this floor. There are 3 bathrooms plus a WC: one shower is a walk-in, the other has a shower-over-bathtub. There’s also a further double bedroom on the top floor with its own bathroom (with a shower-over-bathtub).
Style Notes
Down to earth. The owners have decorated this residence with rich, dark and deep earth tones of sand, forest green and warm whites to create an inviting yet relaxed space. The main sitting room is where the home’s individual style really shines through: an array of vibrant soft furnishings and colorful book-lined shelves offer a fun and modern contrast to the original features of the home, including its gorgeous fireplace and high coved ceilings. We love the beautiful curved staircase, the timeless shaker-style kitchen and the antique wooden occasional chairs in the primary bedroom.

Fulham, London
Parks, football and the Sloaney Pony
This upmarket West London neighborhood is leafy and affluent with a gastro pub on every corner and several parks. It’s easy to get into central London from here - just six stops on the District line - and it has a sprinkle of wizarding magic as the place where Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe grew up.
