Perks for the Parents

This charming house is ideal for families with young children, well-located near the River Thames in Fulham. It sleeps 4 + 1. Parents will love this handy location, close to playgrounds, parks and the fuss-free eateries of the Kings Road. It’s a short walk to the tube to explore the rest of the city and there’s flexible bedroom options for young children or older siblings.

Why Kids Love it

The cute kids half-room and living room contain a few toys and books for children under 8. There’s also plenty of green spaces available in this leafy area: it’s just around the corner from William Parnell park and playground and a short walk to Eel Brook Common playground. It’s also just 10 minutes’ walk down to the River Thames, where little ones can watch the boats go by, or around 15 minutes by tube to the museums of South Kensington.

Things to Know

No pets, parties or smoking. The lead guest must be at least 25 years old. All guests will receive a rental agreement prior to their stay which you are required to sign and submit. The children’s bed is suitable for under 7 year olds. There is no banister around the stairs leading down from the attic room. The cot pictured in the master bedroom is no longer stored in the home.

About the Location

This house is located in the popular leafy area of Fulham, west London. It’s just 10 minutes’ walk to Chelsea’s famous Kings Road - jump on the tube to explore Sloane Square and Knightsbridge or head to Victoria for train routes. The nearest stations are Imperial Wharf (10 minutes), Fulham Broadway (12 minutes) and Parsons Green (15 minutes). Heathrow airport is around 45 minutes away by car or train.

Accommodation Details

The property has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, set over 3 floors. You’ll find a compact kitchen and a separate living/dining area, with access to a small patio. Upstairs there’s a children’s room with a toddler bed (separated from the landing by a movable curtain) and a guest bedroom has a double bed and plenty of storage, while the bathroom has a shower-over-bathtub. On the attic level, there’s a primary bedroom with a kingsize bed (please note that the crib pictured is no longer available).

Style Notes

Country charm in the city. This relaxed home blends traditional interiors, such as chunky wooden furnishings and patterned textiles, with a classic palette of red, white and blue. We love the original fireplace in the living/dining area, the understated dark wood furniture and the shaker style kitchen cabinets.

Fulham, London

Parks, football and the Sloaney Pony

This upmarket West London neighborhood is leafy and affluent with a gastro pub on every corner and several parks. It’s easy to get into central London from here - just six stops on the District line - and it has a sprinkle of wizarding magic as the place where Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe grew up.
