Style Notes
Modern luxury. This home has been impeccably decorated: designer touches abound as this home brings together old world style and the new world décor! The designer of the home was a boat builder and used his love of building boats to design the intricate ceilings in this room. In particular, the large living room on the ground floor has a designer wooden ceiling installed by the builder in 1933. Surrounded by views outside the windows, and inspiring artwork, books and comfortable seating, the library and den are a perfect place to cozy up at the end of the day. Eye catching art hangs from the walls throughout the home and adds to the special feel. Care and attention has been paid outside too - the pool was designed to blend into the natural setting, and has a built in creek, pond and waterfall feature. We love the ghost chairs and impressive chandelier in the dining room, the old world charm of the library, with its fireplace and egg chairs, and the fantastic views and gardens throughout.
