Style Notes

Modern luxury. This home has been impeccably decorated: designer touches abound as this home brings together old world style and the new world décor! The designer of the home was a boat builder and used his love of building boats to design the intricate ceilings in this room. In particular, the large living room on the ground floor has a designer wooden ceiling installed by the builder in 1933. Surrounded by views outside the windows, and inspiring artwork, books and comfortable seating, the library and den are a perfect place to cozy up at the end of the day. Eye catching art hangs from the walls throughout the home and adds to the special feel. Care and attention has been paid outside too - the pool was designed to blend into the natural setting, and has a built in creek, pond and waterfall feature. We love the ghost chairs and impressive chandelier in the dining room, the old world charm of the library, with its fireplace and egg chairs, and the fantastic views and gardens throughout.

This home is absolutely beautiful and conventionally located near parks and grocery stores. Kathleen is incredibly responsive and accommodating. While the home had everything an adult would need for a great stay, I was surprised to find a Kid & Coe home missing quite a few things for kids. There weren't any toys, kids books, or kid dishes. Outside of that, we really enjoyed our time at this home.

We had a wonderful stay at Bohlig Rd. First and foremost, Kathleen treated us with such good care. She was super accommodating to our fluctuating travel plans and very communicative with quick responses to all Of our questions both big and small. The house is gorgeous and very well outfitted for large groups. It was missing a few things that would’ve made life easier with kids like plastic dishes/cups for outdoor/poolside use and also there were no games or toys in the house during our stay because of extra COVID precautions, so can’t really fault them for that, but it was unexpected and made us have to think creatively. The grounds are beautiful With a gorgeous view and so many fun areas for the kids to explore, but lots of uneven ground and steep steps so might be a little more tricky with younger kids (ours are 5+ and did fine). Bonus, the beds in this house were SO comfy! Best night sleep ever. All in all, this was a wonderful retreat and we really felt Away from it all and refreshed from quality family time. Highly recommend this home and we would definitely consider going back again!

Booked this lovely home for my father’s 70th birthday. There were 10 of us, from ages 5 to 72, and everyone loved it. The views are incredible and the home is gorgeous and incredibly comfortable. Super convenient to everything in LA and easily accessible to Legoland, Disney and the OC. The house manager was fantastic and made everything feel like home. Can’t wait to go back.
