This modern villa with an infinity pool in Wiltshire, 15 minutes from Montego Bay, is fully staffed with a nanny, private chef, driver, laundry service, butler, housekeepers, and night manager. Parents can play billiards or table tennis, enjoy a frozen cocktail at the bar, or catch a sporting event on the outdoor television while supervising children in the saltwater pool. The master suite has an enclosed private garden; the property has 5 bedrooms in total and is ideal for a large family escape or several families vacationing together. There is a spacious formal dining area seating 14, perfect for special family dinners prepared by the villa’s private chef. The outdoor terrace has a fully-stocked wet bar, an outdoor TV with cable access, billiards, and table tennis. One complimentary 60-minute massage is included with each weekly rental.

Why Kids Love it

The children's room has 2 sets of custom-made bunk beds and a video game system for indoor entertainment. The upper bunk beds have protective fall guards and are best suited to older children. Along with the pool, which has beach entry ideal for younger children, there is an impressive playscape on 2 acres of beautifully manicured grounds with swings, a 15-foot slide, a rock climbing wall, a tree house set in a sandbox and a basketball court. There is also badminton, croquet, and Bocce ball equipment for impromptu family matches. A personal CPR-trained nanny will help to ensure the safety of children 8 and under for up to 40 hours a week. Provision for young children includes: a crib, pack ‘n’ play, booster seat, high chair, baby gate, books and toys, and a DVD library.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 6 nights in high season, from a weekend day to a weekend day. Low season stays are more flexible. Rates are exclusive of tips: the hosts suggest a 10% gratuity based on the rental rate in high season and a 15% gratuity in low season to be divided up amongst the staff (chef, sous chef, maid, gardener, butler, laundress, night manager). The driver is not villa staff and should be tipped separately. This is a 1-story building, wheelchair accessible and safe for toddlers and crawling babies. All bedrooms are air conditioned. The shower water is solar heated. A comprehensive water filtration system purifies the villa’s drinking water - no need to purchase cases of bottled water. There is a SONOS wireless music system plus Bluetooth speakers in all 4 master bedrooms. Be aware that the residence has a pool that can be accessed from the terrace; several master bedrooms also open to the pool terrace, which also has an open bar. Some outdoor walkways have natural, uneven stones. Three friendly dogs live onsite but can be kept in their large run during the day on request.

About the Location

This villa is on the east bank of the Great River, around 2km east of Hopewell, in the gated neighbourhood of Great River Private. It is approximately 15 minutes from Montego Bay center by car, taxi, or shuttle and approximately 20 minutes from the Sangster International Airport by car, taxi, or shuttle. Villa guests enjoy the services of a private driver with a passenger van. There is free parking onsite, but car hire is not essential. It is safe and quiet at night. The famous Round Hill Resort is nearby; villa guests receive complimentary membership.

Accommodation Details

This 5-bedroom villa is all on 1 level. It includes 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers and walk-in closets, a master bedroom with walk-in shower, an outdoor shower, and jacuzzi bathtub, and a 2-bedroom family suite with a shared ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and tub. Three master bedrooms each have 2 single beds that can be converted to king beds. The kids bedroom has 2 sets of custom bunk beds. There is an expansive great room for dining and relaxing and a covered terrace with views of the gardens. The gardens include a pool, manicured grounds and a play space.

Modern Caribbean. From the cathedral ceilings to the 50ft sliding glass doors in the great room to the infinity pool, this property is truly luxurious. Teak flooring, beautifully tiled bathrooms and sumptuous bedding make it a sophisticated and glamorous place to stay. Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

We live in Canada, but I was born in Jamaica and have since traveled back for many vacations. As a child my parents brought me back to the island every summer and I have so many fond memories from these times. Now that I have children I want to share with them their rich heritage and help them to create magical memories of their own. Great River Private is a lovely neighborhood, gated and secure. There are only twenty one other estates in the well established property. The breeze from off the hills behind keep us cool and the view of the ocean in front keep us mesmerized.
