Walking distance to the beach, this ocean-front villa has a private pool, bunk room for kids and incredible views of the Pacific Ocean and mountains. It sleeps up to 14. There’s enough space for 2 or 3 families to relax together with 5 comfortable and spacious bedrooms. The indoor dining table has space for 12 guests. There’s an outdoor dining area for al fresco feasts and an ocean-view poolside seating area for a BBQ or romantic late evening drinks. Or stroll down to the beachfront restaurant Father Rooster for tacos, shrimp or a margarita.
Why Kids Love it
Kids will love the wildlife that frequents the garden, including tropical birds, and the howler monkeys that you can hear in the distance. The villa is an easy walk to the beach and comes with a beach kit including portable beach chairs, a wheeled cooler, lounge chairs and parasol. The private pool will be a hit and there are pool toys provided for extra fun. Kids will also enjoy the sleepover party in the bunk room with 2 custom-built twin / single over full / double bunk beds with their own Smart TV.
Things to Know
Minimum stay: 3 nights. Safety notes: the pool is ungated and there are ungated internal stairs. Young children should be supervised on the balconies. No pets allowed. A complimentary housekeeping service is available daily and there is a regular gardener on-site. The property has air conditioning in every room. Pool and beach equipment and towels are provided. Bathroom products are provided. All 4 bathrooms have showers and a toilet. Private parking is available for up to 5 cars. The nearest airport is Liberia International Airport (LIR), 16 miles away.
About the Location
The villa is located on Ocotal Beach in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica. It’s known for soft golden sand, clear turquoise waters, and stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. The landscape around has lush greenery and rocky cliffs. Ocotal Beach is a popular spot for sportfishing enthusiasts, and perfect for snorkelling and scuba diving – the clear waters are teaming with fish and marine life. You’ll be 3km from the popular beach town of Playas del Coco with supermarkets, restaurants, banks and pharmacies.
Accommodation Details
This beach villa has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on 2 floors. The open concept living space has a sofa and armchairs with floor-to-ceiling windows all around overlooking the gardens and the ocean. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, dishwasher, ice-maker and kids’ utensils) that opens to the dining room seating 12. All bedrooms have Smart TVs. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor: 1 kids’ room with 2 twin over full bunkbeds, and 2 queensize bedrooms. The other 2 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and have their own balcony: 1 primary bedroom with a kingsize bed, sliding doors to the balcony, walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom with a hot tub and 1 queensize with an ensuite bathroom. Outside is the private pool, lush gardens and outdoor lounging furniture.
Style Notes
Coastal luxury. This villa has been designed for relaxation and to make the most of the ocean views with floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The furniture inside is high-end with wooden beds and matching drawers and colorful rugs on the cool, tiled floors. Art prints adorn the walls and the bathrooms are tiled with natural stone. The kitchen has a large island and space to entertain. We love the luxuriously large hot tub in the primary bedroom ensuite and the beautiful pool area with loungers, palm trees and tropical flowers.
