It’s located on a peaceful, quiet street (with no through traffic) and close to many green spaces, with 2 playgrounds a short walk away. The surrounding area is packed with cafes, restaurants and shops - it’s truly a bustling neighborhood that’s highly sought-after for families. There’s even an outdoor Lido just a short stroll away in London Fields park, where you’ll also find the popular Broadway market. Don’t miss a visit to the pub at the end of the road, voted one of the best in London.

Why Kids Love it

Our house is well set up for young kids, packed with toys and with plenty of space for them to roam and cute bunk beds to share. There is so much to do here with children, from Lego building to tinkering on the children’s piano or playing in the pretty garden, as well as 2 huge TVs for downtime and a popcorn maker for movie nights. Take the kids to explore famous Victoria Park (15 minutes’ walk) where there’s a fantastic Sunday food market, skate park, playgrounds and more.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: XX nights. A weekly cleaner is included in the fee. The hosts are temporarily relocating to New York, so longer rentals are preferred. There are 2 children’s high chairs at the table.

About the Location

The borough is known for being lively, full of young families, packed with parks and playgrounds, and close to playgroups, museums and fun activities for kids. Accommodation Details

The house has 2 bedrooms and is set over 3 floors. You’ll find a recently-renovated open-plan kitchen - complete with Rangemaster stove, Sage coffee machine and underfloor heating - and a light-filled living area leading directly into the garden with a BBQ. The lower floor hosts a TV room with a working fireplace and a large playroom full of toys. The primary bedroom and children's bunk room are located on the top floor. There is a bathroom with a bath and shower, and a separate toilet/utility room. The playroom can also be turned into a bedroom or workspace if required.

Style Notes

East London Townhouse. Spacious, chic, cosy and bright, this Victorian-era property has been lovingly renovated with modern features, particularly in the kitchen. The light-filled conservatory is a perfect spot to read by the double-height window, or snuggle with the kids for a film in front of the 54 inch TV. On chilly evenings, the fireplace on the ground floor will keep you warm, and on warm evenings you can enjoy a BBQ dinner al fresco. We love the opened staircase overlooking the kitchen, the pretty pink bathroom and the contemporary green crittal-style doors.

Hackney & Dalston, London

Butterflies and a petting farm

This oh-so-hip borough of northeast London is great for families, within easy reach of central London by Tube and with plenty to see and do, from London Fields Lido to Hackney City Farm, as well as trendy food markets and plenty of nightlife. Clissold Park has a great kids play area and a butterfly tunnel, and if it rains, there are soft play areas and the Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green to dive into.
