Why Kids Love it

This residence is ideal for children of all ages up to teens - they’ll love the bunk beds and there’s plenty of room to run around in the living area and the large backyard. The sandy beach and clear shallow waters are ideal and safe for paddling, and there’s a beach volleyball court on the sands for older kids to get active. Ouranoupolis (25 minutes’ drive) is a great resort for water sports - older kids or teens can try a spot of wake-boarding, paragliding or inflatable fun. A crib, high chair, baby toys and a baby bath can be provided on request.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 7 nights. The house has sliding doors from the living area leading directly onto the outdoor deck, grass garden and down to the beach - young children should be supervised. There is space to park outside - car hire is essential to explore this area. This residence has air conditioning, backyard, a large outdoor decked area, outdoor grill, balcony, bed rail on the kids bunk bed, dishwasher, DVD player, fireplace guard, housekeeper, high chair, TV, washer/dryer and WiFi. Please note there are no bathtubs in the bathrooms. Pets are welcome on request.

About the Location

This villa is located near Develiki, 65 miles from Thessaloniki in Halkidiki, Greece. It’s a 1.5 hour drive to Thessaloniki airport. Nearby Lerissos village (10 minutes’ drive) has a choice of tavernas, restaurants and stores (plus more beaches) and it’s 25 minutes’ drive to the ancient city of Ouranoupolis - a tourist-friendly spot with a picturesque Byzantine beachfront tower. Take a boat trip around the island of Mount Athos (look out for dolphins), visit Stagira (35 minutes’ drive), the birthplace of Aristotle, or drive down to Fairytopia theme park (1.5 hours away) full of giant trampolines and inflatables - great for kids of all ages.

Accommodation Details

This residence has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. On ground floor, there are 3 double rooms: 1 sea view with a kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom, 1 mountain view with a queensize bed and ensuite bathroom, plus 1 more mountain view with a queensize bed an adjacent bathroom. On 1st floor, there is: 1 sea view room with a queensize bed and 1 sea view double room with a shared balcony. There's also 1 more mountain view queensize room - all 3 rooms share a bathroom. There is a large open plan living/dining area (with a table seating 8) and kitchen with breakfast bar. Outside there is a large decked terrace with relaxed seating, outdoor cooking area (with grill) and 2 dining tables with chairs seating up to 12.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

Words cannot really describe how special the Develikia Villas are inn Halkidiki, Greece. There are few places in the world that afford you this kind of chic barefoot luxury - your own private sandy beach with the clearest turquoise water, standup padels ready to be used every day, lounge chairs and beach volleyball all set up on the beach. We were nervous about not having a swimming pool but in the end we didn't miss it at all- in fact we were glad we didn't have one as the six children in our group - ranging in age from 2 years to 16 years - spent all of their time in the calmest safest sea imaginable. Konstantinos the host was incredibly gracious - helping us with groceries and finding a wonderful loving housekeeper / chef to look after our large group. It really is a special place and there aren't many places we would return - but we are already trying to book for Summer 2025- highly highly recommend. x
