Bright, airy, clean, and recently renovated. Rooms are tastefully decorated and painted, with house plants, bright colors and cozy furnishings. We love the brownstone exterior and the bamboo floor/ white wall pairing, giving the apartment a light and spacious feel.

Originally from upstate New York, now living just north of NYC with my husband and two kids. Love traveling, reading the New Yorker, music, and triathlons. Kid and Coe seems like a great place to find interesting places to go with our young family!

Harlem, Manhattan

DJ sets and double dutch

This part of Upper Manhattan runs from the East River to the Hudson and is known for its treelined brownstone blocks and multicultural community. Stop by the Totally Kid Carousel in Riverbank State Park - it’s the only one in the world designed by kids - or enjoy impromptu concerts, DJ sets and plays in the neighborhood's many parks in the summer.

Thank you so much for a lovely stay. Larah couldn’t have been more responsive in advance of our trip and Robert was super amenable and gracious during our two week stay. The apartment is spacious and really well stocked with linens, towels, kitchen things and anything else to make it feel homey. This is really well situated in central Harlem/Morning Side Heights and we had a lot of fun exploring local restaurants, cafes and parks for us and our little one. This couldn’t have been more convenient to the university and subway spots downtown. Thank you again for making your home ours for two weeks!

We really enjoyed the apartment! It had everything we needed as a family, and the toys and books were a big hit with our 2-year-old. A special thank you to Robert for being a great host, so friendly and available when we needed something; we wish could have had time to hang out with you! Heidi, Brenton & Romy

We loved our stay at the 121st residence! It's a quick walk to Columbia U and Central Park, and much much bigger than expected for Manhatten. Larah and her whole family were absolutely the nicest hosts we have ever encountered. The entire family - baby, preschooler, and husband attending a conference - loved it! Thanks again.
