Parents can relax and enjoy this serene outdoor space while their children play in a safe and engaging setting.

Why Kids Love it

The home is particularly well-suited for families with babies, toddlers, and children under 10. While younger children benefit most from the safety features, teenagers can still enjoy the spacious layout and backyard area for relaxation and outdoor fun. Kids of all ages will love the indoor climbing frame as well as the garden play house and slide, and there’s a playground just 10 minutes away on foot. The best bit? You’ll be just minutes from the area’s amazing beaches.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 3 nights. The host will accept groups of up to 15 guests. Safety notes: there are no steep drops or un-gated pools on the property, so families can relax and let children explore in a safe environment. The hosts can provide recommendations for babysitters. It’s around 45 minutes’ drive from Lihue airport, which flies to mainland US cities and the other Hawaiian islands. There are many beach coves and seafront hiking trails to explore but car rental is advised to explore the area. Additional tax of 17.75% will be added (Transient Accommodation Tax and General Excise Tax of State of Hawaii).

About the Location

The house is located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood that offers convenient access to everything parents need for a stress-free stay. There’s a big grocery store 10 minutes’ walk from the house, as well as a local playground and public library, both perfect for keeping children engaged and entertained. The entire home is walkable from beaches (including Sealodge and Anini), making it easy to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea. A sandy, baby-friendly beach is only a 15-minute trip, providing a wonderful spot for families to enjoy sunny days by the water.

Accommodation Details

The house has 5 bedrooms set over 2 floors. At the entrance, you’ll find a spacious living area filled with natural light, complete with plush seating and a large TV for relaxed gatherings. This flows seamlessly into a fully equipped kitchen with high-end appliances and a stylish dining area that comfortably seats all guests. Upstairs, there are 3 well-appointed bedrooms. The primary suite boasts a kingsized bed, en-suite bathroom with a luxurious walk-in shower, and large windows that let in the gentle ocean breeze. The second bedroom offers a cozy queensize bed, while the third bedroom is perfect for kids or extra guests, furnished with 2 single beds. There are also 4 double sofabeds in the living room to offer flexible sleeping options for families, as well as 4 single air beds and 2 toddler beds. Each bedroom is designed with comfort in mind, featuring soft linens and ample storage. One of the highlights of the property is the outdoor space: a private patio with lounge chairs, a grill, and dining furniture provides the perfect spot for al fresco meals or quiet relaxation.

We love the pops of color from the tropical trees through the windows, the grand open staircase and the stylish pentagonal shower.

Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
