Eat, drink, and be merry—words we live by! We thrive on sharing the best experiences we've had related to those three essential principles so that people can enjoy the places, people, and things we have come to love. We joined Kid & Coe to to share these things with others and discover new ones with our own children.

Healdsburg, Sonoma

Wine, Peanuts and picnic groves

Picture-perfect Healdsburg is one of the most beautiful small towns in northern California and the ideal place to base yourself for vineyard tours and Russian River exploration. Stroll around its 19th century plaza, sip wine in tasting rooms and enjoy the great outdoors. Family-focused wineries nearby entertain all ages with picnic areas, swimming pools and bocce ball courts. Beyond the wine, there is a Charles Schultz Museum in nearby Santa Rosa for big Peanuts fans, Safari West, and San Francisco is an easy hour's drive away.

Our family had such a magical time at The Bailey's home. The property is secluded, beautiful, and just dreamy for an extended weekend (or ideally, longer!) stay. We were 5 adults and one infant, and the home had everything we needed. Proximity to Healdsburg and premier wineries was so awesome, but the highlights were definitely the outdoor shower, hot tub, and patio.

Just a quick getaway for Spring Break since we couldn't travel any farther. Beautiful home in an incredible, secluded location in wine country. What can I say. Beautiful huge deck w/ modern hot tub, kitchen with everything you need including a fancy European drip coffee maker. Updated appliances. Sonos home audio indoors and out. Comfortable beds. Large property you can walk around. Fire pit for the evenings. This area is also one of the areas closest to San Francisco with very dark sky. I brought my telescope and we were able to see the Orion Nebula very clearly which was a treat. Also even though its secluded and feels very out at the end of the road it's very fast to a large, well-stocked local grocery store with great wine section. Basically you can't go wrong - this is a fantastic place.

Our family of four spent a week at The Dry Creek Residence during an 8 week adventure in the US and Canada and it was a highlight. The local area was a delight to explore and the weather was perfect. The residence is beautifully presented and the kitchen in particular was well equipped. Our only suggestion would be a basket of pencils and paper, some balls or some construction toys for the children but our children didn't really miss them. We would love to visit again one day.
