This Sonoma County home is in the heart of California’s wine country and has vineyard views, a pool and sunny deck. It is set up with a main house and a guesthouse and is ideal for 1 or 2 families vacationing together. There is a spacious living room and bedrooms, plus a fabulous decking area. We love the fruit trees, the views over the vineyards and the sunsets. The lovely local town of Healdsburg is an added bonus.

Why Kids Love it

Whatever their ages, kids will love the safe outdoor decking space and pool. There are plenty of toys and books, and the property is on 1 level, making family time a breeze. The setting is verdant and the location interesting, with plenty of family-friendly wineries, eateries and playgrounds nearby. Visit Lake Sonoma for water activities including water-skiing, fishing, swimming and canoeing.

A Brita filter is provided for drinking, but guests may prefer the taste of bottled water and the hosts recommend bringing a few large jugs available at the local grocery store.

We love traveling to the California wine country! With 2 little ones (now in pre-K and 1st grade), it has been a favorite destination. Easy access to San Francisco, world-class restaurants, wonderful wineries, gorgeous land, and fantastic weather are a few reasons why we love it. We joined Kid & Coe because we wanted to share our property with other families! It is so hard to find homes that have the amenities needed to make a family "trip" into a "vacation", and Kid & Coe is the perfect venue to match our property with great families!

Healdsburg, Sonoma

Wine, Peanuts and picnic groves

Picture-perfect Healdsburg is one of the most beautiful small towns in northern California and the ideal place to base yourself for vineyard tours and Russian River exploration. Stroll around its 19th century plaza, sip wine in tasting rooms and enjoy the great outdoors. Family-focused wineries nearby entertain all ages with picnic areas, swimming pools and bocce ball courts. Beyond the wine, there is a Charles Schultz Museum in nearby Santa Rosa for big Peanuts fans, Safari West, and San Francisco is an easy hour's drive away.
