Hello, I'm from Can Tho City - a nice town in the Mekong Delta and my husband is from Da Lat - the central highlands. We are living in Saigon with my Dad, a retired architect who devoted his career to the designing & building of churches in the Mekong Delta. We have been super hosts on other platform for over a year where we enjoy the pleasant company of new friends around the world, most of them are young families. We open up our home and our hearts to those who want to experience a Vietnam through the local lens, and hopefully, you'll fall in love with our city with as well.

Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Bustling markets, river tours and high-flying kites

From river tours to bike routes, bustling markets and awesome kids play spaces, super friendly Ho Chi Minh City is a fantastic and stimulating place to take the kids. Street food tours give you a chance to sample local dishes, museums have fantastic play spaces and indoor attractions like KizCiti give the littles a chance to play at being grown ups. Take a tour on the Mekong Delta, delve into guerrilla warfare in the Cu Chi Tunnels and fly kites in parks with the local kids.

The host and home were both lovely and professional. The place had much of what we needed including a beautiful view of the city. My only wish was that they had more toy/book options for elementary school age children for those down times when we stayed in for a few hours. However, we were out and about most of our stay, so it wasn't a problem. It is also close to some shops and the boys even got a haircut just across the street. There is a security guard patrolling the building as well. We had a wonderful time!
