Perks for the Parents

A spectacular yet serene villa surrounded by nature on the northern side of Ibiza, with its own secluded beach cove. Sleeps 12. This private and tranquil home gives you the chance to explore the beautiful nature of Ibiza and the coast, away from the busy tourist areas. There’s enough room here for the whole family, even if you’re bringing a nanny/au pair or grandparents. All around the villa, the aroma of fragrant herbs will invigorate you. Walk past mature olive and palm trees and, if in season, pick heavenly fruits from the pomegranate, fig and plum trees. The flower beds are full of roses and lavender bordering gardens of fresh grass, and at sunset, you can sit on the rocks and watch the sky turn into various hues of pink, purple and orange.

Why Kids Love it

The property is perfect for kids and teens of all ages. In addition to the beautiful nature surrounding the villa, kids can enjoy the play area, infinity swimming pool and relax in lots of shade, allowing for great family fun and memory-making. There’s plenty of room to run around, a private play area tucked away with a slide and swings, and a multitude of outdoor spaces hiding away and just waiting to be discovered. The beach is pretty much private at the edge of the property (there are no official private beaches in Ibiza), where kids can swim in the secluded cove or build sandcastles on the shore. A crib or extra bed can be added on request for an additional € 100 per stay.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 3 nights. The entire villa will be yours for the duration of your stay, and is very secluded, almost like your own private island! The property is accessed through a private gate that leads to a tree-lined driveway. The hosts can organise for a private chef to come and cook for the whole family, incorporating your nutritional requirements and dietary specifications for the kids - just ask when booking for more details. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance but car rental is necessary to get around the island - the airport is around half an hour away.

About the Location

The house is situated on the north-western coast of Ibiza, 5 minutes’ drive from Portinax. Northern Ibiza is very calm and there is a tranquility you can’t find anywhere else on the island. Although Ibiza is known for the party scene, this part of the island welcomes a different kind of crowd that appreciates calmness and nature - it’s generally always popular for families in summer too. Within a 3-minute stroll through the private pine forest, you’ll reach the sea at Cala Xucla, a sandy cove hugging the land where the property ends.

Accommodation Details

The house has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. It’s made up of 2 adjacent Ibithenco style houses, now blended together. The spacious living room, with its centrepiece fireplace, opens onto a beautiful Moroccan garden on one side and onto the sea-facing terrace on the other. The infinity pool boasts a decked lounge area and chic sails for shade - an ideal place to forget the cares of the world. The new rooftop terrace is a lovely place to spend your late afternoon relaxing and admire the views from the villa. There are 3 queensize bedrooms, 1 double and 2 twin rooms.

Style Notes

Bright, light, nature-focused with earthy tones, beautiful design and high quality furniture for ultimate comfort. The smaller finca is approximately 800 years old, retaining many of its original features, including the wonderful Sabena tree ceiling and white walls, reflecting all that is charming about Ibiza. The larger of the 2 houses was designed by the famous architect Rolf Blakstad and features polished limestone floors, ornamental fountains and large rooms and balconies with stunning views. We love the natural fabrics and materials - the house is full of beautiful woods, linens, cottons and natural tiles.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
