Perks for the Parents

This beautiful stylist-designed villa with a pool in the north of Ibiza is in a peaceful location surrounded by countryside, 10 minutes from the nearest beach. The ground floor patio is a great relaxing space, as is the upper terrace, accessed through the master bedroom. The swimming pool is just in front of the patio, so you can watch the kids easily. The garden is safe for kids, and has lemon, avocado, pomegranate and orange trees. There are lovely restaurants just minutes from the house.

Why Kids Love it

With a large pool, trampoline and wooden swings, the garden is great for kids. The house is a short 10-minute drive from Benniras Beach, with plenty of others within a 20-minute drive. It is a quiet and tranquil spot and there is a dedicated children’s room. Toys and books plus an array of baby/toddler equipment is provided. The pool has a separate section for children who can’t swim. Kids can delight in the frogs, fish and birds at the house, and sheep and chickens who live next door.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 7 days. Children need to be supervised around the pool and on the upper terrace there are gates that can be closed to the pool but it is close to the house. The garden is big, flat and safe for children. There is fast WiFi throughout the house. Car hire is essential - there is no public transport. For stays of 3+ weeks, the host is willing to discuss a deal price. Also, for stays out of season that are currently showing as unavailable (Jan - May and Sept - Dec), the host would consider a booking if the dates work. About the Location

The house is near Sant Llorenc de Balafia in the quiet north of Ibiza, 12 minutes from Ibiza town and 10 minutes from the coast. It is easily accessible from the main road that comes from the airport and Ibiza Town. San Antonio is a 30-minute drive away, as is the airport. There are many good quality child-friendly restaurants approximately a 3 min drive from the house.

Accommodation Details

This 2-story home has an open plan living space with lounge and dining area plus kitchen, open to the terrace, pool and garden via sliding doors. There are 7 bedrooms in total, with 4 on the ground floor (1 has direct access to the pool) and 3 on the top floor. Four of these bedrooms sleep 2 in either a kingsize or full/double bed, 1 has a toddler bed and 1 has 2 full/double beds. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and an ensuite bathroom, and access to the large roof terrace.

Style Notes

Romantic, Moroccan and bathed in sunshine. The owner of the house is a stylist and cares for atmosphere and detail. You will find Moroccan rugs, big shells, and many fashion and cookbooks. The house has the feeling of being set on the beach, with big open glass doors and thatched roofs of bamboo and straw. We love the serene atmosphere, the Moroccan lights and the chic wall art.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

We are a couple with one daughter. Before coming to Ibiza we have lived in Amsterdam. Renu is a Fashion Stylist and author of the book IBIZA BOHEMIA published by Assouline and Bas is a DJ. We love our life in Ibiza, it is a paradise for the children. We like going to cities like New York, Paris and London because it is the opposite of Ibiza. We like taking Skye to the theater and Musea. We also like to go to exotic places like Tulum, India, and Marrakech . There are many places on our list we still want to show Skye, like going to see the Northern light or making a road trip to Australia or the USA or learning to surf in Hawai or Costa Rica. We joined Kid & Coe because it is hard to find the right holiday destination that suits the taste of parents and children. We think Kids & Coe is an amazing website.

Great stay. Renu was super quick to respond to any and all asks, including some fab recommendation. Our group of 8 adults and 7kids aged 3-16 all had a fantastic time. Point to note, only 3 bathrooms with 1 an on suite which wasn’t a problem for us but worth noting if you need more.

The Casa Blanco residence was really lovely, the house is really well Located and beautifully decorated. And Renu and Bas were great hosts, and available at all times for everything we needed. We recommend this house, for families, it is very kid friendly! And lots of lovely restaurants around, and 20 min drive to nice beaches. We hope to come back!

Renu and Bas were the absolute best hosts! We've stayed in many homes while traveling and they have gone way above to make guests feel welcome and at home. We felt like we were staying with friends and you really can't ask for more than that in a host. The property itself is ideal for a large family with plenty of room for kids to run free and explore while being safely contained! The pool is epic our crew of 5 kids from ages 3-8 couldn't get enough of it and the only problem was they didn't want to leave the house :) ( not a problem!) There is also a cool little pond full of gold fish that the girls were in love with and a giant bird house with pretty little parakeets that chirp and are quite magical. My favorite feature is the giant out door table on the gorgeous shaded deck where you can sit down with a large group for meals and enjoy wine while the children play in the pool right in your eye sight. There are so many nice spots to lounge with which is so nice and relaxing. The master bathroom has a huge tub perfect for wash many children all at once. The house is very roomy our girls loved "changing sleeping rooms" and playing games like hide and seek . We loved the location being on the more quiet side of the island it was a perfect escape to come home to after the beach! We have nothing but great things to say about the house, hots and Ibiza for families!

We absolutely loved our stay st Bas and Renu’s home. They gave us some great recommendations - restaurants, beaches, shopping etc and were the perfect hosts. Bas was on call and was there to help with any small problems that occurred. And nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is very big and has been decorated beautifully. It has such a good vibe. The pool is beautiful and the gardens surrounding were a dream for our family coming from a New York apartment. We would love to return at some stage in the future... can we come next week?! :)
