Perks for the Parents

This charming villa occupies a glorious 3,500m2 plot in a secluded location close to the village of San Rafael, in central Ibiza. It sleeps 10. Parents will love the sense of indoor/outdoor living here, where there are multiple covered terraces, al fresco dining spaces and outside lounging areas to enjoy the summer sun. The main outdoor dining area offers a barbecue space and table seating for up to 10 - perfect for long family meals - while the 2 primary suites have private terraces where grown-ups can enjoy a quiet coffee (or cocktail after sundown).

Why Kids Love it

Kids of all ages will enjoy swimming and splashing in the large 11m x 5.5m pool (not gated), which is surrounded by loungers and 2 cozy Balinese day beds for afternoon naps. Beyond the pool, the gardens also offer a tennis/soccer court and a fantastic children’s play area, with swings, a trampoline and other outside toys. They can also enjoy table tennis or table football matches. When they’re ready to explore the island, there are plenty of family-friendly beaches to discover, many of which have safe shallow waters and soft sand.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 5 nights. Check in: 4pm. Check out: 10am. Rates range from 5kEUR to 11kEUR per week depending on the season. Safety notes: the property is fully fenced with electric gates. The service rooms are only suitable for children under 12 or a nanny/au pair. Mid-week housekeeping is included with weekly bookings, as is garden and pool maintenance. All the bedrooms have air conditioning. Each of the 3 bedrooms have kingsize beds (which can be split into 2 singles on request) and ensuite shower rooms. The international airport is around 15 minutes away by car. Car rental is essential.

About the Location

The villa is surrounded by peaceful farmland and pine-scented woodlands, creating a peaceful family-friendly ambience in a tranquil location. It’s a short drive into the village of San Rafael, where you’ll find restaurants, shops and a children’s playground. The popular town of Santa Gertrudis is 10 minutes away, as is Ibiza town. San Antonio is around 15 minutes away. The closest beaches are roughly 15 minutes’ drive (try Playa de Talamanca, the huge stretches of sand at Playa d’en Bossa or the locals’ favorite on the south coast, Latja de ses Salines).

Accommodation Details

The residence has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, split between the main house and a separate annex. Main house: a large and well-equipped kitchen opens to an interior dining space, seating 8, with access to the exterior terrace. The primary suite is part of the main house, but is accessed from the exterior terrace and also features a small kitchen, satellite TV, and terrace access. The second bedroom also has a kingsize bed and satellite TV. There are 2 service rooms in the main house, each with kingsize beds and satellite TV. Annex: close to the main house, an annexe houses the second primary suite, with a kingsize bed, kitchenette, satellite TV, cozy open fireplace and terrace access. This suite also houses the washing machine.

Sleek and contemporary. The hosts have updated this traditional Ibizan villa with modern bathrooms, a sophisticated neutral kitchen and an elegant neutral palette. To reference the history of the building, you’ll also find rustic elements such as weathered wood, exposed stone walls and the brick fireplace. We love the concrete-effect integrated kitchen, the exotic palm trees which surround the gardens and that spectacular outdoor dining area and kitchen.
