This comfortable home has ample space for families to spend time together, as well as private and separate areas for when you need to relax away from the kids. Parents will love escaping to the outdoor lounge area for a quiet morning coffee or an evening drink after bedtime. There’s also 1 separate bedroom downstairs, which can be used for working-from-home or for parents traveling with a nanny. Spend your days lounging by the pool, exploring the island’s beaches or sampling the world-class restaurants nearby.

Why Kids Love it

The house has tons of toys and books for kids under 10 and it’s a great family space - the kids’ rooms are bright and colorful, with options for boys and girls. The hosts have children aged from 4-14 so there’s something here to entertain every age group! A crib, high chair, baby toys and a baby bath can be provided on request. It’s a short walk from local playgrounds and the whole family will love the beaches here: most of Ibiza’s waters are shallow and calm - perfect for little ones. They’ll be spellbound by Benirrás beach on the north of the island, where they can watch the unique hippie drumming ritual on Sundays at sunset. There’s also plenty of attractions for older kids and teens including water parks and an aquarium.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 7 or 14 nights, depending on the time of year. Safety notes: the pool is not gated and there are stairs both outside and inside the house. There is a terrace off the master bedroom with sliding doors that lock shut. There is outdoor parking in front of the house - car rental is recommended to explore the island. The owners have 2 family dogs (who will be elsewhere during your stay). Housekeeping will be included in the rate depending on the length of stay. There is a separate laundry room and an outdoor washing line. There’s a TV in the living room and in the downstairs bedrooms. The hosts also have bikes (sized for preschoolers, kids 9-15 and adults) and scooters, which guests are welcome to borrow during their stay.

About the Location

The residence is located in Santa Gertrudis in the heart of Ibiza. This Spanish island is known for it’s party atmosphere and unbeatable nightlife, but this is a quiet, family-friendly area, named by Condé Nast Traveler as 'the prettiest village'. A super easy spot for those with kids, it's right in the middle of the island and central to everything, so you can access pretty much every beach or village within a half hour drive. Families can walk (5 minutes) to the local charming square, which has a playground, restaurants, deli, pharmacy and grocery stores. Head to Ibiza town to discover the historic castle and independent boutiques, or spend the day at the locals’ favorite beach, tranquil Ses Salines (both 20 minutes’ drive). It’s also approximately 20 minutes from Ibiza international airport.

Accommodation Details

The house has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. The large living area features a dining space for 6 and a well-stocked kitchen with an eat-in table for 4, as well as a cozy L-shaped sofa for comfy movie nights with the kids. All the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms: the primary bedroom has a family bathtub, while the others have walk-in showers. Three of the bedrooms are upstairs: the primary bedroom with a large kingsize bed, a 2nd with a single bed and single trundle underneath, and a 3rd with a queensize bed. The final bedroom is downstairs and also has a queensize bed. Outside, there’s a small swimming pool, outdoor dining table and relaxed lounge area.

Style Notes

Relaxed modernity. The house is bright, light and very clean - decorated with families in mind. Each area is flooded with light and has a real outdoor/indoor living feel, thanks to the large windows and glass doors. The hosts have blended Ibiza-inspired Boho style with clean-cut contemporary elements. We love the glass-sided staircase, the cute children’s house bed and the colorful artwork in the living room.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

Perfectly positioned in the centre of the village which meant we could walk to shops and restaurants which meant we didn't have to struggle to get a taxi in the evening. There are so many good restaurants in Santa G and nearby. Sluiz also just down the road. As we were in the centre of the island it meant we could explore any beach so we chose a different location every day. Good sport facilities in the village eg gym, pilates and my daughter was allowed to train with the local swim team. One child fell ill and a private GP mins from the house saw her immediately which was a godsend. Given it's a family home all the amenities worked well. One of my children had to do allot of work for her uni application and it was a lovely home away from home for her. Very easy to communicate with owners and they had help nearby if we needed help operating the air con etc Would highly recommend.
