Hosts can organise a babysitter or chef on request, and you can work out in the home gym to keep fit during your stay. Drive down to the quiet local beaches to take in the traditionally relaxed Ibiza atmosphere, head to the lively restaurants in Ibiza town, or visit the world-famous clubs across the island - these spectacular spots are tourist destinations in their own right.
Why Kids Love it
This vacation home is a paradise for children and teens. They’ll love the amazing outdoor space, which features a ping pong table, climbing frame, trampoline, and petanque pitch. The swimming pool is filled with salt water (perfect for more sensitive skin) and it can be heated for out-of-season stays. Plus there are plenty of different areas in the backyard and on the terraces for independent kids to hang out. Ibiza is a great place for families, with children welcome in most restaurants across the island and lots of shallow, calm beach coves to explore. Further afield, there is an aquarium just past San Antonio and a water park close to Ibiza airport (both around 20 minutes’ drive).
Things to Know
2023 Minimum stay: 1 Jan - 31 May, 3 nights; 1 June - 15 Sept, 7 nights; 16 Sept - 30 Sept, 5 nights; 1 Oct - 31 Dec, 3 nights. Strict cancellation policy once deposit is paid. No refunds for cancellations for any other reason other than government lockdown. Safety notes: there are no stair gates and there is currently no fencing around the pool, but these can be rented for an additional fee if you have any concerns for very young children. Parents with little ones will be relieved to find toys, books, and games indoors, as well as a changing table and children’s utensils. Pool heating is charged as an extra cost - ask the hosts for details. Parking is available for 2 small cars, or 1 bigger car inside the gated property - car rental is recommended to explore the island. The house comes with air conditioning, a safe in each bedroom, housekeeping, satellite TV, Sonos wireless speakers and WiFi. The hosts can arrange a private chef or babysitting services (for an additional fee).
About the Location
This property is around 10 minutes’ drive from the beach town of Cala Tarida in Ibiza. This beach cove resort has restaurants (including the highly-regarded Cotton Beach Club), sea-front bars and a sandy beach with glistening turquoise waters. It’s a quiet and safe residential area, away from the busy nightlife elsewhere on the island. The beaches of Cala Moli, Cala Vadella and Cala Conta are all less than 15 minutes’ drive. Historic Ibiza town is less than half an hour away, with its beautiful cobbled streets, unique shops, tourist spots, and authentic restaurants - as well as a harbor for boat trips to other islands including neighboring Formentera. Ibiza’s international airport is around 25 minutes’ drive.
Accommodation Details
This villa has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, set over 2 floors. Upstairs, there are 2 kingsize bedrooms (both with ensuite bathrooms, one also has a terrace and outdoor shower) and downstairs, there are 2 queensize rooms, one of which has an ensuite bathroom. The final kingsize bedroom is located in a separate building away from the main house, with an ensuite bathroom. The open plan living space includes a cozy lounge, dining area, and Scandi-style wooden kitchen - plus floor-to-ceiling doors opening up to the backyard. Outside, the pool is surrounded by lounge chairs, 2 covered seating areas, and a shaded dining area with an amazing outdoor kitchen (which has a bar with bar stools, a sink, two fridges, and a BBQ). Guests are also welcome to use the home gym, which has weights, a treadmill, and an exercise bike.
Style Notes
Contemporary hippie chic. This residence blends the typically Ibiza-style laid back interiors, with natural materials and relaxed furnishings, together with a sleek modern slant. Driftwood outdoor sofas, patterned textiles, and industrial light bulbs create a rustic, pared-back environment, complemented by minimalist smooth concrete bathrooms. We love the black slatted light fixtures hanging over the outdoor dining table, the chunky carved wooden bedside tables, and the ‘sunken’ wall storage in the living room.
