It sleeps up to 12. Set on 10 acres, the property is perfect for a large family or 2 families vacationing together. The expansive open floor plan allows space for the kids to play in eyesight. Luxurious touches for parents include a primary bedroom with an ensuite bath featuring Jack and Jill sinks. The lodge has a gas fireplace for evening relaxation and expansive wraparound decks. In the summertime, you can relax and dine outdoors. There is a Sonos sound system for music streaming and a fire pit for marshmallow toasting. The chef’s kitchen is well appointed with 2 ovens, a microwave, a gas grill and high-end appliances to enjoy homemade meals.

The Teton mountain and river views, plus easy access to the slopes and treasured National Parks make this a great spot for those with free range kids. The local area offers almost every outdoor mountain sport imaginable including skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, horseback riding, hiking, fishing, swimming, and river rafting. At the lodge, kids will be excited to find games, toys, musical instruments, books, board games and art supplies. The house features an upstairs play area/loft to create art or work puzzles and there’s an electric piano or full-size piano toy for making up songs. There are also 2 TVs with streaming apps. The property has a large front and back yard for ball games or bug hunting in the warmer months. During your stay, don’t miss a taste of the famed local huckleberry ice cream shake.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 3 nights. For a larger group booking, inquire to rent this property and the neighboring lodge sleeping up to 28 in total. Teton River Luxury Lodge is private and offers prime wildlife viewing. Small children need to be supervised around the grounds. There are ungated stairs. There is abundant wildlife on the property, including birds and an occasional moose. The house is heated with Google Nest smart devices. In the warmer months, ceiling fans are available in all of the bedrooms and family room. For additional guests, there is a queensize sofabed and a pack n play. Included: coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, dryer, private parking, smart TV and WiFi. No pets allowed. Don’t forget to ask about recommendations for fishing adventures, paddle board rentals, and cross-country skiing.

About the Location

This house is in Victor in Teton County and a 15-minute drive to local restaurants, breweries and shops. Idaho has 3.9 million acres of wilderness and there’s plenty to explore here, with 10 acres all to yourself. Expansive views from this property include the Teton mountain range, the Big Hole sweeping hillside, the Serene Teton River, and quiet farm fields homing wildlife including moose, deer, swans, cranes, and more. Wade into the river for fly fishing, just off the edge of the lawn, or float down the Teton River with a public access boat ramp just down the road. Conclude your vacation with a trip to Jackson Hole, WY and the greater Yellowstone area, or by hiking or biking one of the numerous trail heads nearby. Jackson Hole Ski Resort and Grand Targhee Summer and Ski Resort are both located within about a 45-minute drive providing some of the best skiing within the Rocky Mountain Range. Local airports include Jackson Hole or Idaho Falls.

Accommodation Details

This luxe log cabin has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and is laid out over 2 floors. A large family room offers a rustic feel with a river rock propane fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows. A fully equipped kitchen with bar stool seating. A separate dining room seats 12. The primary bedroom has a queensize bed and ensuite bathroom with doors to the deck. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have queensize beds and 2 additional bedrooms (which would make great kids’ rooms) each have 2 twin beds. The loft has a TV and a pull-out sofa with a Sealy queensize mattress. A travel crib is also available for 1 toddler/baby. There is a laundry room. Outside is a maintained lawn, fire pit, huge wraparound deck with a gas grill and panoramic views.

An adventurist’s dream with touches of the wild west. The cathedral ceilings in the family room of this modern mountain luxury lodge echo the great expanse of its setting. A grand open floor plan makes entertaining and relaxing seamless and there are sensational views of the Teton Mountain Range, Big Hole Mountains and Teton River from every window. Mountain-themed artwork adorns the walls while accents such as reindeer skins and deep pile rugs make it cozy. We love the wraparound deck, accessed by several sliding glass doors from the family room and primary suite; the mix of natural wood and rock; and the opportunity to view wildlife such as moose, sand hill cranes and water fowl and escape in the great outdoors.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 10% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 10% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.
