About the Location

It’s 8 minutes’ walk to Angel tube station and 10 minutes to Sadler’s Wells Theater at the base of the bustling Upper Street which is filled with shops, pubs and restaurants. The museums of Fitzrovia and Clerkenwell are 15 minutes’ walk. The popular markets and nightlife of Shoreditch are 15 minutes by tube. Accommodation Details

The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. On the entry level, you’ll find a dining room with a table for 6 and kitchen with a breakfast bar on the island. There’s also a WC on this floor. On a lower ground floor, the living room leads to the courtyard garden. Upstairs on the first floor, there’s a primary bedroom with a kingsize bed, a cozy armchair and a large closet. This spacious bathroom has a large bathtub and a separate walk-in shower. Upstairs again to the top floor, a second bedroom has 1 or 2 single beds and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. This bathroom can be accessed by the top floor bedrooms: the third bedroom has a kingsize bed and a hanging rail for storage.

Style Notes

Old meets new. This clean and contemporary house has a modern heart with a contrasting historic outer shell. A traditional city townhouse in classic London brick, it still retains the original style windows and shutters but has been brought up-to-date with a sleek white kitchen and contemporary furnishings. We love the understated chunky wooden bar stools, the welcoming wood burner and the sparkling renovated bathrooms.

Islington, London

Boutiques, bars and Ottolenghi

This desirable North London suburb has great family appeal. A short hop on the Tube from Central London, it’s a great location for a family break in the city, with a buzzing high street, interesting shops and cafés down Camden Passage, and Regent’s Park and London Zoo nearby too.
