A beautiful terraced townhouse in one of London’s most desirable districts, this stylish family home boasts plentiful living spaces and a dedicated kids room. It sleeps 8. If you’re here for work it’s just a short trip by underground into the city, but if you’re here for play you’re close to one of the most vibrant and buzzing streets in the capital - Upper Street. Either way you’ll have plenty of space to relax after busy days in the city, and parents will adore their spacious primary bedroom, fitted with a luxurious ensuite and dressing room.

Why Kids Love it

This home is full of subtle kid-friendly touches, from the wheeled toys in the living area and backyard slide to the collection of toys and books in the children’s bedroom. Surprisingly, there are plenty of parks and green spaces in this part of London: it’s less than 10 minutes’ walk from Rosemary Gardens park and playground, and just 5 minutes from Shoreditch Park which boasts sports courts and adventure playground. Take cultural kids to nearby Sadler's Wells theater for seasonal ballets and family-friendly shows.

Things to Know

This home doesn't have air-conditioning. Between June and September, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period. There are steps up to the entrance of this home and no elevator. This home is spread over four floors with no internal elevator. The fireplaces in this home are ornamental. One loveable dog lives at this home. He won't be around during your stay, but this home may not be suitable for people with allergies. Someone may come to water the house plants and garden during your stay. They will have keys but we will let you know in advance the date and time of their visit. Since the photoshoot, the crib, in the nursery, has been replaced by bunk beds.

About the Location

Nestled in a quiet residential North London neighborhood, it’s situated a short 15-minute walk from Angel Underground Station for access into the city and the west end in under half an hour. The bustling shops and busy restaurants on Upper Street are also 15 minutes away on foot. Regent's Canal is just a few steps away, where you can spend a day meandering the entire 9-mile length of water-side paths from Little Venice to the River Thames. The nearest airports are Heathrow (1 hour), City (half an hour) or Stanstead (1 hour).

Accommodation Details

This home has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, set over 4 levels. The lower ground floor is home to the open plan kitchen and family room, which leads to a private 2-level outdoor space with a dining area. The entrance level features another sitting room. Upstairs the primary bedroom features a kingsize bed, walk-in dressing room and ensuite bathroom, while the second and third bedrooms boast double beds. The children's bedroom has a set of bunk beds.

Style Notes

Dark and light. The style is modern with a palette of bleached herringbone oak flooring, woven carpets and neutral tones creating a base for bold statement colors like sage greens and petrol-blue hues. The splashes of color come in eye-catching details, such as the artwork and the bathroom tiles. We love the internal crittal-style windows adding light to different areas, the cute kids dining room table and the classic navy shaker kitchen.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
Applicable to stays up to 60 nights: If guests need to cancel, we refund 50% of the booking value, up to 14 days before the arrival date. Should guests cancel within 14 days of the arrival date, the booking will be non-refundable. Applicable to stays of 60 nights or more: If guests wish to cancel, we refund 50% of the first 60 nights, up to 14 days before the arrival date. Should guests cancel within 14 days of arrival the first 60 booked days are non-refundable. During the stay, guests are able to cancel at any time within 30 days notice; the remaining nights of the stay will be refundable, however, the first 60 days will remain non-refundable. In addition to the hosts policy which is listed here, all cancellations are subject to a Kid & Coe cancellation fee of 15% of the booking total.
