Parents love the 2 master bedrooms with gorgeous mountain and waterfall views from upstairs. The large windows, arched walkways, and newly renovated interior make for clean and light living spaces. There is full kitchen for family meals and new washer/dryer. The backyard is great for family games and sunbathing, with easy access to tide pools.

Kids love the large grassy outdoor garden with picnic table and outdoor play gym with slide, swings and clubhouse. Family bikes are available. The indoor game room includes a ping pong table, foosball table and plenty of toys and books for all ages. A bedroom with 2 twin beds is ideal for children. DVD player and Netflix-ready for indoor entertainment. Travel crib and high chair available.

Things to Know

Minimum stay: 2 days. This home is 2 stories, with stair gates available. The outdoor deck has a banister for protection but young children should be supervised. There is plenty of parking in the private driveway and 2-car garage. Washer/dryer, ceiling fans, WiFi and Netflix included. Beach gear including towels, chairs, boogie boards, cooler and snorkel equipment is available.

About the Location

Located on the North Shore of Kauai in Princeville, this residence is only half a block to Queen’s bath. There is a library about half a mile away, plus the St. Regis hotel is within walking distance with spectacular sunset views. Local attractions include botanical gardens, spa, playgrounds and family-friendly restaurants.

This 3200 sq ft. 4 bedroom home includes a large grassy garden, outdoor deck with chaise lounges and lanai with grill and eating area, as well as a play gym for kids with slide, swings and clubhouse. Downstairs has a fully equipped kitchen with table seating 4-6, washer/dryer, dining room, living room and family game room. Upstairs includes 2 master bedrooms with kingsize beds, 1 bedroom with queensize bed, 1 bedroom with 2 twinsize beds. Two twin beds are also available in the games room.

Breezy and bright. This sunny and newly renovated family beach home has large windows, arched walkways and light wooden floors and is open and welcoming for a comfortable family stay. A pastel palette and unique reclaimed wall shelving brings the beachy ambience indoors. We love the green and tropical back garden, art in rustic wood frames and pops of color and florals in the upholstery throughout.

Payment policy
When a host accepts your booking, we will automatically charge your card 30% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance if the check in date is more than 6 weeks away. We will send you a balance payment reminder at 6 weeks before check in and you will be required to submit your payment to finalise your reservation. If a host accepts your booking and the check in date is 6 weeks away or less, we will charge your card 100% of the total cost of the stay on acceptance.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations notified up to 6 weeks before the check in date, guests will receive a refund of any amount paid less 15% of the total cost of the booking. For cancellations notified at 6 weeks or less before the check in date, no refunds are given unless the host agrees. If a host does agree to a full or partial refund, this amount will be returned to the guest less 15% of the total cost of the booking. Some hosts will also allow a stay to be rescheduled. Guests should contact their host for further information regarding any request to change the dates of a stay.

We are an adventurous family who left the big city several years ago to live in paradise: Kaua'i. We love hosting other families who want to un-wind in a kid-friendly atmosphere, where the kids are able to roam and be "free-range" for a bit and the parents don't have to worry. Our recent adventures have taken us to New Zealand, Fiji and Costa Rica, but we always enjoy returning back to our home on Kaua'i.

With plentiful and uncrowded beaches, world-class snorkeling and adventure by the bucketload, Kauai is an ideal location for a family vacation. Hike the Napali Coast, helicopter over lush jungles, kayak the waterfalls along the Wailua River, and marvel at views of the Waimea Canyon - the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Or just play on the beach and enjoy the island’s laid-back spirit. Small enough to drive round in 2 hours, this island is a family-sized adventure.

Amazing place, really big house with tons of space. Kids love the jungle gym in the backyard. Loved the toys and all the beach toys as well for the kids. Everyone was really comfortable and happy and Tammy was really responsive when I had issues with the TV :) Would highly recommend.
